Jaganathan was an active member of the Kerala theatre scene, where he played several notable characters and also directed a few plays. He was brought in to the film industry by noted director Aravindan in his work Oridathu (1986). He has since acted in close to a 100 movies and was also active in the Malayalam TV industry.

Mikhael then convinces Kunjachan to go to confession, and start living as a good Christian.
