However Neelima is in love with Shivapal (Saikumar) whom she meets in the US. On her return, an astrologer (Narendra Prasad) predicts that her first husband will get killed a few days into their marriage. Neelima decides to marry Vindhyan so that he will end up dead as her first husband.
