徳川八代将軍吉宗は質素倹約の政策を励行するが、万事派手好みの尾張藩主・宗春は吉宗からおとがめの書状を受け取ったことをきっかけに、甲賀の忍を呼び出す。宗春は吉宗の過去の愛妾を暴くスキャンダルで政治への不満を爆発させようとするが、対する吉宗も紀州のくノ一を使い、甲賀の忍びに捕まる前に愛妾たちを殺そうとする。

徳川家康が天下を統一した後の1614年。忍者の二大勢力である伊賀と甲賀の両勢力は、初代服部半蔵のおきてにより長らく戦うことを禁じられていた。そんな中、伊賀当主の孫娘・朧と甲賀当主の後継ぎである弦之介は、互いの素性を知らぬまま出会い、恋に落ちる。一方、伊賀と甲賀の両勢力は、家康の命によりそれぞれの精鋭5人ずつを戦わせ、どちらが勝ち残るかで次期将軍を決めるという忍術合戦を強いられることになる。

1638年、島原の乱に敗れて殺されたキリシタンの若き指導者・天草四郎は、彼と同様、現世に恨みを抱いて死んでいった、宮本武蔵や柳生流の豪傑・荒木又右衛門らを魔界からこの世に転生・復活させる。一方で四郎は徳川3代将軍・家光の治世に不満を抱き、次の将軍の座を虎視眈々と狙う紀州藩主・徳川頼宣の野心を煽って、徳川幕府の転覆を企てる。そしてそんな陰謀を必死に食い止めるべく、柳生十兵衛は彼らの前に立ちはだかる。

They left behind 7 daughters now seeking out Jyubei Yagyuu to help get revenge.

A woman calling herself Princess Oryu enters the woman's prison. She is Kasumi, the daughter of the famous magistrate, Ooka Echizen, who slowly after hearing each of the prisoner's stories begins to realize the mystery that lies behind what it could be a big conspiracy.

Basically the plot revolves around the title characters having to stop some sort of alliance from carrying out their dastardly deeds. The vixens employ some of the most bizarre ninjitsu sex magic ever commited to the screen to aid them in their quest. The production feels like some edited episodes of a TV series (I don't know if that's actually the case here), so think along the lines of Charlie's Angels meets Saiyûki (aka. Monkey) but made by perverts and you'll start to get the picture of what to expect. It also has a great soundtrack; kind of early 80's synth-pop soap opera score combined with the sort of thing you'd find in a Japanese RPG on the Super Nintendo. Filled with some great fight scenes, lots of nudity, bizarre ninja sex magic (that simply has to be seen... especially the magical-ninja-egg laying vixen), and some over-the-top violence certainly make this offbeat oddity worthy of a whole-hearted recommendation

寛永の時代のある夜、島原の乱で殉死したはずの天草四郎が再び命を取り戻す。彼は自分と同じように不本意な死に追いやられた人々を集め、時の将軍家綱に復讐を開始するが、彼ら魔界衆の前に柳生十兵衛が敢然と立ちふさがった。

Tôma, a famous swordsman, is called in and exposes the Ninja, even discovering their leader, a beautiful young girl named Kagiroi. Guessing that she is the daughter of some ousted daimyo anxious to get back into favor, he is about to unmask her when he is taken prisoner...

A corrupt businessman blackmails the lovelorn reprobate Atsushi into watching over his suitcase full of embezzled cash while he serves a jail sentence. Rather than wait for the man to retrieve his money, however, Atsushi decides to spend it all in one libidinous rush—fully expecting to be tracked down and killed.

山田風太郎原作の「くノ一」シリーズの第3弾。物語の骨子を「忠臣蔵」におき、四十七士とこれを阻もうとする上杉方の能登忍者、色仕掛けで赤穂浪士の復讐心を殺ごうと千坂兵部が放った「くノ一」忍者たちが三つ巴となって繰り広げる対決をエロティシズムと笑いで描く。
