南仏でミシュラン１つ星を誇るフレンチレストランのオーナー、マダム・マロリーは最高のサービスと味を提供することに人生をかけている。そんな彼女の店の向かいにインドから新天地を求めてヨーロッパにやってきたカダム一家が、インド料理店を開業する。強烈なスパイスの匂いと大音量で流れるインド音楽に迷惑顔のマダム・マロリー。さらに市場での食材の奪い合いが巻き起こり、２つの店は一触即発の険悪なムードになってしまう。その解決の鍵を握るのは、インド人一家の次男で天才料理人のハッサンだった。
