The plot featured R and the Camera Club going on a stamp tour throughout Japan, with the threat of their club being closed down unless they can collect all the stamps by 6:00 PM.

As Akira Fudo wakes up, he finds himself in a "chibi" form, which he thinks doesn't fit a hero such as himself. He is not the only one that has changed. Together with Ryo and Miki, they set out on a journey to restore their proper appearances and find out what caused this change. During their adventure they find several other characters from the world of Go Nagai, such as Mazinger Z, Dr. Hell, Baron Ashura, and others.

電脳ネットワーク“SYSTEM”が管理するユートピア“エデンシティ”。天才ハッカーの青年エイジは、シティを統括する情報監督局E＝Xへの入局が認められるエリートだった。その一方、ゲーム会社を装ってSYSTEMの管理に敵対するオレンジ社のレジスタンス活動が始まり、天才ゲーマーでもあるエイジはいつしかその争いに巻き込まれていく。やがてエイジは、シティの支配者とされるウォン・ダイの正体を知る。

大河崎重工・自衛隊・米軍の三者は、対戦車用の新型陸上兵器スレイヴ・トルーパー｢MADOX｣を完成させる。それは強大な装甲と攻撃力を有する試作パワードスーツだ。だが性能実験で、引き立て役を強いられた米陸軍戦車隊のエース・キルゴアは、MADOXに遺恨を抱く。しかしMADOXは秘密輸送中、不慮の事故を経て自動車工場勤務の市井の若者・杉本紘二の手に渡ってしまう。不完全なプログラムが作動、機体を着込んでしまう紘二だが、彼はその日、海外留学する恋人・名倉しおりを見送りに行く大事な用があった。MADOXを着込んだまま強引に空港に向かう紘二。だが、その前にあのキルゴアの姿が……。

2009年、地球は異星人ゼントラーディとの交戦状態に陥った。避難民5万8000人を乗せ、それ自体が宇宙都市ともいえる巨大宇宙戦艦マクロスは、太陽系外縁から地球へ帰還すべく旅を続けていた。そんなある日、艦内に敵が侵入、若き戦闘機パイロット一条輝は、襲われていた民間人の女性を危機一髪のところで救出する。なんと彼女は、人気歌手のリン・ミンメイだった。この救出劇を機に、2人は親しくなっていく。
