Thus was born the desire to do more than complain and starts along with other parents, but especially mothers, an arduous journey of withdrawal of drug trafficking in Galicia.

Rich kid Adrian is released form the psychiatric institution where he has lived since he was a child and goes to live in the house he's been given by his father, who he's not seen for years. On the other opposite end of the city, sleepy-eyed Gonzalo, the son of aging hooker Raquel, finds himself desperately short on cash. Attempting to burgle Adrian's house, Gonzalo is caught red-handed by Adrian who promises not to tell the cops if Gonzalo will acquire a pistol for him. Their meeting is the start of something that neither of them could have ever imagined.

When his wife cheats on him, his car is stolen, and his company is accused of embezzlement, Rodrigo (Carlos Sobera) decides to stage his death, come back as his long-lost twin brother, Ricardo, and start fresh with his family. But much to his chagrin, he learns that his wife doesn't miss him, his kids speak poorly of him, and his boss may have framed him. Amandine is a kind, extroverted Postdoc student who is living temporarily at a student residence. Oscar is the doctor who works at the infirmary, as well as her friend.
