ロサンゼルス。私立探偵のギテスは、建設会社の経営者バーマンから妻キティの浮気調査を依頼される。だが、浮気現場を押さえたバーマンが相手の男を殺害してしまう。しかもその被害者は、バーマンの会社の共同経営者であるボディーンだった。ところが、凶器はボディーンのものだったことなどからバーマンは無罪放免に。また浮気現場で盗聴していたテープには、かつての案件で出会ったイヴリンの名とその娘のことが語られていた。そしてギテスは、単純に見えた今回の依頼の背後に巧妙な策謀が存在することを嗅ぎつけ、バーマンのもとへ行き着くのだが…。

"Once Upon a Midnight Scary" is a 1979 television program that aired as part of a CBS television anthology series. The program, hosted by noted actor Vincent Price, features scenes from three stories, including "The Ghost Belonged to Me" by Richard Peck, "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" by Washington Irving, and "The House with a Clock in Its Walls" by John Bellairs.

"Shangri-La Plaza" is a musical-comedy pilot made for CBS-TV in 1990. The all-sung “Shangri-La Plaza” was directed by Nick Castle and written and created by Mark Mueller and Nick Castle. It starred The Office’s Melora Hardin, Chris Sarandon and Broadway’s original Beast and Javert Terrence Mann, a two-time Tony Award Nominee for Best Actor. It also featured the very young tap dancing phenomenon Savion Glover in one of his first television appearances. The pilot was filmed on location in an actual mini-mall at the corner of Vineland Avenue and Burbank Boulevard in North Hollywood, California.
