First Look Studios released six theme-based DVD sets of "Unsolved Mysteries" in Region 1 in 2004/2005. The sets were re-released on June 21, 2005 with a lower suggested retail price. On March 21, 2006, a compilation set called The Best of Unsolved Mysteries was released, which contained selected segments from each of the earlier DVD sets along with some previously unreleased-on-DVD content. A special boxed set featuring the first six sets along with the new content from the Best of collection was also produced. Implicating herself and sentenced to jail, she then recants her testimony. But no one believes her until clues surface from the real killer that he is still out there, has killed before, and will kill again. He signs his messages with Happy Faces.

Spithrachne
Assistant professor Orlan Sands is rescued from muggers by Spithrachne, the leader of an evil spider-themed cult. As payback, Orlan is asked to steal a magic urn discovered as an artifact in an archeological dig. Knowing he'll be killed if he refuses, he turns to his friend Jack Chase, a martial arts champion, for protection. Unfortunately, Jack is killed by Spithrachne, and his newly-engaged fiancee Maggie blames Orlan for Jack's death. But Orlan still needs protection, so he asks voodoo priest Brother Banjo for help, and help he gets...Jack, raised from the dead as a ninja corpse!
