鹿児島県・長島を舞台に、突然島に戻ってきた女性と島から出たことのない女性、それぞれの視点を通して、ひとつの見え方が真実のように受け止められてしまう社会の不確かさを描いたドラマ。 東京から故郷の鹿児島県・長島へ突然戻ってきた女優の城子。彼女は3年前に島を舞台にした映画で主演デビューをするはずだったが、制作が頓挫し、姿をくらました過去があった。島には映画制作に出資し、制作費をだまし取られたと城子を恨んでいる人もいる。一方、生まれてから30年以上、島を出たことがない由記乃は、両親と妹とともに実家で暮らしているが、根無草の城子が突然同居することになり、穏やかな日常が脅かされる。そして、城子が再び「映画を撮る」と言い始めたことから、静かな島に波紋が広がっていく。 本作と同じ長島を舞台にした「夕陽のあと」で助監督を務めた近藤有希と水落拓平が監督・脚本を担当。

Wanderlei Silva retained his Middleweight Champion title by defeating Ricardo Arona via split decision.
