就職活動に四苦八苦している内向的な大学生の赤井達也は、突如として劇団バズーカを名乗る者たちによって知らない場所に連れていかれてしまう。彼らは警官の青木純蔵が行方を追う指名手配犯の安藤リコを捜し出し、その報奨金で念願の自主公演をかなえようとしていた。そして、捜査に必要な演技の才能を秘めた赤井を半ば無理やりメンバーに迎え入れたのだった。演技力を駆使した捜査という考えに混乱しつつも、個性あふれるほかの劇団員たちとリコを捜す中、事態は思いがけない方向へと転がりだしていく。

Ten years have passed since the discovery of inter-cosmic travel. The existence of three parallel worlds have been confirmed. いつものようにジャカンジャと戦うハリケンジャーの3人。しかし、彼らの前にオルグと戦い、正義の戦士であったはずのガオレンジャーの5人がジャカンジャの味方として立ちふさがる。正義の戦士であるはずのガオレンジャーの行動に戸惑うハリケンジャー。 このガオレンジャーは、実はチュウズーボを除いた暗黒七本槍の5人が化けていた偽者だった。彼らは本物のガオレンジャーのGフォンとガオの宝珠を奪い、悪に利用してハリケンジャーに挑んでいたのである。本物のガオレンジャー5人とガオの巫女・テトムは、チュウズーボの弟であるチュウボウズとガオレンジャーに滅ぼされたオルグ残党のツエツエとヤバイバの2人に誘拐されていた。唯一脱出できた大河冴と共に、ハリケンジャーはガオレンジャー救出作戦に乗り出す。無事救出されたガオレンジャーとハリケンジャーの反撃が始まる。
