The girl crosses the bridge and opens the door to adulthood. Saki, a lonely girl who lives with her father in New York, where she never wanted to come. On the other side of the Brooklyn Bridge, which she was not allowed to cross, she met people who were following their dreams, and fell in love for the first time.

Detective Mimura was living peacefully with his loving wife and son when the latter two were killed in an explosion caused by a 14-year-old boy, Yuya. Four years later, when Yuya is released from juvenile detention centre, Mimura's feelings towards the boy have evolved from grief to outright hatred, and he must cope with the pain. Meanwhile, Yuya's father quits his job as a teacher and dedicates himself to compensate the victims and to take care of his son. While the adults are trying to come to terms with their disrupted lives, Yuya is about to test the law again...

Screenplay
The movie is set several years after the brutal murder of author Munetuga Tokida's secretary. Tokida was subsequently cleared of the crime, but vanished soon afterward. For years after the murder, Tokida's house was left untouched because people feared it was cursed. One day, a man named Kazuo receives a mysterious email informing him of a 50,000,000 yen reward for anyone who can enter the house and find clues to unravel the mystery of the murder that occurred there...
