CID detective Rockman was sent to Thailand to investigate a case involving the Hong Kong and Thai underground syndicate. During his visit he met a sexy table dancer called Elli, they had a brief but hot steamy affair. Unexpectedly Rockman was ordered to return to Hong Kong. Before leaving he promised Elli he would return. But he never did. Heart broken Elli felt she was deceived. Rockman never expect his affair would bring the worst luck for him and family. Married man David and good friend Ho take a vacation together in Shenzhen, David meets a young lady at a night club, whose partner robbed him, Ho in order to save David accidentally killed the girl and her partner, the two decided to run. They took a ride with a truck, hoping to escape to Vietam. Ho asked his Hong Kong girlfriend Joan to help, Joan meets with Ho in China with money, not expecting David's new girlfriend Miu Ying to steal it.

Chingmy Yau is spunky girl-next-door Tung-Tung, who's hot for rich guy Wing (Tony Leung Chiu-Wai), but she can’t say two words to him thanks to one of those afflictions that occurs only in movies. It seems she has this annoying problem of hyperventilating whenever a guy she likes looks at her.

Lam Hung is a loudmouth street hooker with a useless crippled gambling-addicted husband Ching and son Man. Hung's friend Fei is an nightclub hostess, and Fei's lesbian sister Mei/Mooi seems bent on total self destruction after her girlfriend May dumps her for a boy. Mei becomes mixed up with tabloid journalist Wah, who convinces her to allow him to photograph her as she jumps off a building. Hung receives a marriage proposal from regular client Wai, a police officer. Causing trouble for all of them is Saur, the local loan shark and crime boss. Ching is in debt to Saur, he runs the club where Fei works, and he brings in Mainland girls who undercut the local streetgirl's prices. Wah and Mei become sort-of lovers, and Wah does a story on the streetwalkers, in order to influence public opinion against Saur and his mainlanders.

The story follows Hunter and Yat, two new hot shot recruits, who under the watchful eye of their commanding officer, Yuk Pai, rise quickly through the ranks, enduring much mental and physical hardship along the way. Their new found skills are put to the test when renegade SDU member returns from seclusion in Thailand to wreak havoc on Hong Kong and the SDU's most secret missions.

CID officers Ho Tin-nam (Michael Chow) and Jacky Wong (Hilary Tsui) follow a stray dog to the crucified body of a truck driver in a remote area. Much of the suspicion centres on his fellow trucker Chan (Shing Fui-on), particularly when the victim's wife is killed as well. When not only Chan, but the nosy stray dog are added to the growing number of victims, attention is focused on an arrangement which the drivers had with a Chinese prostitute named Yin-fong. She had been their secret liaison in Shenzhen, and committed suicide when the men refused to let her stop providing her services to them. Yin-fong's twin sister Mei-ping (Miki Ng) also becomes a suspect, but yet another murder provides her with an alibi. Officers Ho Tin-nam and Jacky are faced with a plethora of red herring leads and an escalating body count before they can bring the real killer to justice.

On his way to a congress of kung fu masters, an initiate falls from a high cliff, only to be rescued by lovely Tien Lam (Anita Mui), who rides a huge crane. The rest of the movie features a battle between warring martial arts factions, an equally fierce rivalry between the two daughters of the Crane Master, the accidental empowerment of an unprincipled master after having eaten half of a secret scroll, a battle with an immense tortoise whose spleeny vapors save a group of poisoned swordsmen, lots of great aerial fights against nearly invincible villains, and the usual blood spurting from assorted mouths.

A young woman searches for information about her father who starred in the classic movie 'Days of Tomorrow', which she is helping to remake. She finds out about his restless youth, career in the 1970s Hong Kong film industry, and tragic love affair.

Tom Chan, Dick Ching and his older cousin Hairy Mo live in the same tenement building but each of their love life is different.

Slick but impersonal TV movie, shot on video, with Simon Yam as real life early-80's "jars killer" Lam Kor-wan, a night shift taxi driver who dismembers prostitutes by day in his family's tiny Tsim Sha Tsui apartment without arousing suspicion, at least until he delivers a roll of film containing pictures of his latest trophy to a local photography shop for developing! Remade as DR. LAMB (again with Simon Yam).
