Rebecca Swan was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1970. She is the co-screenwriter of director John Carpenter's two Masters of Horror episodes: Cigarette Burns and Pro-Life, produced as part of the series for Showtime. She co-wrote "Skin & Bones" for the the Masters of Horror follow-up show Fear Itself. Swan's most recent work is the 2018 horror movie Extremity and The Final Interview.

Deep within the underbelly of Paris, there is a club which is the home of a secret, wicked society. At first it resembles an ordinary fetish or Goth nightclub, but within the cavernous building are many hidden rooms, one of which is known as "The Room of Souls," a private gathering place of the world's richest and most evil people.
