50 Years of BBC Two Comedy
Self
Documentary charting and celebrating five decades of often groundbreaking, boundary-pushing comedy from BBC Two.
Chas & Dave Last Orders
Himself
Documentary which highlights cockney duo Chas & Dave's rich, unsung pedigree in the music world and a career spanning 50 years, almost the entire history of UK pop. They played with everyone from Jerry Lee Lewis to Gene Vincent, toured with The Beatles, opened for Led Zeppelin at Knebworth - and yet are known mainly just for their cheery singalongs and novelty records about snooker and Spurs. The film also looks at the pair's place among the great musical commentators on London life - and in particular the influence of music hall on their songs and lyrics. The film crew followed Chas & Dave on their final tour, having called it a day after the death of Dave's wife, and blends live concert footage with archive backstory, including some astonishing early performances and duets with the likes of Eric Clapton. Among the experts and zealous fans talking about their love of the duo are Pete Doherty, Jools Holland and Phill Jupitus. Narrated by Arthur Smith.
The Seventh Python
Himself
Sean Connors Films, Ltd. Presents a Frozen Pictures production of The Seventh Python, a nonfiction musical feature film based on the life, work and unplanned career of musical satirist Neil Innes. The Seventh Python traces one man’s winding path of whimsy as he flirts with destiny at the edge of fame with incredibly influential and unusually lasting work that keeps one foot each planted in the worlds of comedy and rock ‘n’ roll. From the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band to Monty Python's Flying Circus and The Rutles, to his Ego Warrior campaign and his insistence on wearing a plastic duck on his head, Neil Innes has proven to be the greatest musical comedy satirist of the past fifty years.

Phill Jupitus Live: Quadrophobia
Himself
In Phill's first ever comedy video, we're treated to delights of his often fantastical flights of fancy. A superb mimic, he takes us to an electrical store on a Saturday morning, where all the shops assistants are toddlers. We're then transported to London Zoo where the tigers are winding up the lions. Phill is also terrified of spiders. Join him in his fearful tales of trying to catch his eight-legged enemies, whilst trying to save face with his father-in-law.
