A group of friends on a rafting trip down a river stop in at an old ghost town to spend the night. Soon their rafts disappear, and then they begin to be eliminated one by one by a mysterious killer.

The Dirk Diggler Story is a 1988 mockumentary short film written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. It follows the rise and fall of Dirk Diggler, a well-endowed male porn star. The character was modeled on American porn actor John Holmes. The film was later expanded into Anderson's 1997 film Boogie Nights.

Three first-time filmmakers, Justin, Dana and John set out to make a documentary about the hardships of inner-city life. Justin follows two NYPD officers while Dana and John focus on Thomas (a black youth poised to move up from his hardships). Stories merge, relationships corrode and the filmmakers become participants in the underground world they set out to document.

The village is preparing for the annual festivities and a dispute erupts between "Uncle" Jacinto and his business rival , the widow Quiteria, when each of them invites different bands to play at the same time during the party and dances

In 1969, Taylor Mead complained to his friend artist Wynn Chamberlain that Andy Warhol had never paid him for any of the work he had done for him and Wynn said he would make a film especially for Taylor. Inspired by the banality of 1960's television, Chamberlain wrote and directed Brand X, an 87 minute series of faux television shows spoofing the politics and mass media of the day, complete with commercials for Sex, Sweat, Computer Dating and Peanut Butter. BRAND X follows Taylor Mead through a day in a wacky television studio as he portrays an exercise guru, a talk show host, a veteran returning from the American Civil War, a hospital patient in a soap opera, the President of the United States and a televangelist giving the Nightly Sermon. BRAND X satirizes President Nixon, the Vietnam War, sex, drugs, computers, money and race relations.

After a while the boy and 6 other people are found murdered, and the camera was still recording...

태국에는 수많은 종류의 귀신이 ‘존재’한다. 폽(Pob)은 인간의 내장을 먹으며 살아가는 귀신이다. 태국과 라오스 국경을 가로지르는 메콩강 주변에서 이러한 ‘폽’의 존재는 태국인들에게 단순한 ‘전설’이 아니라, ‘존재’하는 것(혹은 그렇다고 믿고 있는 것)이다. 아피찻퐁 위라세타쿤 감독은 새 영화 "엑스타시 가든"의 촬영을 위해 메콩호텔에서 리허설을 진행 중이다. "엑스타시 가든"은 ‘폽’을 소재로 한 영화이다(이 프로젝트는 실제 2002년 부산국제영화제의 PPP 프로젝트이다). 클래식 기타리스트의 연주로 시작되는 영화는 폰(Phon)과 통(Tong)의 대화를 중심으로 전개된다. 하지만, 통의 어머니가 ‘폽’임을 보여주는 장면이 등장한다. 이 장면은 "엑스타시 가든"의 한 장면인가, 아니면 아피찻퐁 위라세타쿤 감독이 보여주고자 하는 ‘폽’의 모습인가? 아피찻퐁의 영화에서 인간과 귀신의 공존은 새삼스러운 것이 아니다. 이는 메콩강 주변에 광범위하게 분포되어 있는 하나의 문화현상이다. ‘폽’의 존재가 그토록 일상적인 것은 지난 수세기 동안 메콩강 주변에서 펼쳐졌던 잔혹한 역사와 무관하지 않을 것이다. 그럼에도, 마치 아무 일도 없다는 듯이 고요하게 흘러가는 메콩강의 마지막 장면은 그 의미가 전혀 다르게 다가온다.
