필름 위에 나타나는 유령의 저주...그 비밀에 다가가지 말라!어느날 밤, 당일 촬영분량의 필름을 시사하던 스탭들은 기이한 경험을 하게 된다. 멀쩡히 상영되던 필름이 어느 순간, 갑자기 본적도 없는 다른 필름으로 대체되어 상영되는 것이다. 그들은 곧 자신들이 촬영한 필름에 이상한 필름이 덧붙여져 있음을 발견한다. 문제의 필름은 20년 전 바로 그 촬영장에서 다른 영화에 사용되었던 필름이었고, 삽입된 필름 속에는 무언가를 보고 놀라는 여자 주인공 뒷편에, 희미한 여자의 형상이 비치고 있었다. 그저 잘못 편집된 장면이라고 생각하며 예사롭지 않게 여기던 다른 사람들과는 달리 감독은 이상한 예감을 느끼게 된다. 감독의 기억 속에서 그것은 낯설지 않은 장면이었는데...평온하던 촬영장에는 그 이후 알 수 없는 사건들이 일어나고, 급기야 촬영 도중 조연 여배우는 의문의 추락사를 당한다. 당황한 감독은 자신의 생각을 사로잡고 있는 과거의 기억을 떠올리려 애쓰고, 그러던 중 신문기사를 통해 문제의 필름에 보이던 여배우가 20년 전 같은 스튜디오에서 촬영 도중 추락사한 사실을 알게된다.

Rama is a supervisor who is looking for a driver at the last minute to deliver out of town. He manages to get Ah Meng and Bakri to do the task with additional overtime and bonus. The only catch is that they have to deliver a Chinese-style large wooden coffin on time. For the extra money, the two men take on the job and travel in the van through the quiet expressway. During the journey, the delivery van's radio player gets busted. To kill time, both men begin to tell ghost stories which they declare as genuine. Bakri starts off the ghost stories from his kampung that involves a young man and a banana tree spirit.

The "Five Lucky Stars" attempt to help a restless ghost take revenge on the evil drug gang who took his life. At the same time, they want the ghost to help them get rich and court the four policewomen assigned to the case.

This delightful action comedy came out a full two years before Ghostbusters premiered. Coincidence? You be the judge. Whatever the inspiration, nothing can compare to this amazing showcase of wushu and wizardry as one of the best all-star fighting casts take on spectres, spirits, and phantoms as well as each other.

한 마을의 유지 임씨는 장의사인 구숙과 함께 선친을 이장하기 위해 묘를 파내던 도중, 지난 20년 전 헐값에 자리를 넘겨준 것에 앙심을 품은 풍수지리사가 묘를 일부러 잘못 묻었단 사실을 알게 된다. 20년 동안 썩지 않은 시체를 보고 구속은 임씨에게 선친을 화장하라고 종용하지만 임씨는 이를 거절하고, 강시로 변해버린 선친에 의해 살해되고 만다. 하지만 임씨 역시 강시로 변하고, 마을은 이 두 강시의 출현으로 순식간에 아수라장으로 변한다.

장의사에서 일하는 주석두는 주인 이숙공과 함께 부호였다가 마인상의 대에 와서 가세가 기운 마씨집으로 장례를 치르러 간다. 고향을 떠났던 마인상은 주검으로 돌아오고 처를 자처하는 여인은 만삭이다. 이숙공과 총장은 이씨의 임신을 기뻐하나 주석두는 마인상이 성불구자임을 상기하고 의심한다. 종이사람으로 가장하여 영안실에 숨어든 주석두는 마인상이 조상들의 부장품을 꺼내려고 죽은척 한 것임을 안다. 짜고온 문상객들은 마인상의 자식에게 거대한 유산이 남겨져 있음을 알고 마인상을 살해한다. 원귀 마인상이 주석두에 떨어져 주석두가 죽자 약혼녀는 주술로 부활시킨다.
