After WW II many young people arrive to Zagreb, among them a young worker Sonja Kacar. She is supposed to participate in the construction of the first generator in the Rade Koncar factory. Because there aren't enough experts and materials in Yugoslavia, the factory counts on help from fellow communist countries, Czechoslovakia and Soviet Union. However, after the Inform Bureau's resolution this help is no longer available. Sonja experiences a great intimate disappointment because Stjepan, who she is in love with, supports Stalin.

One weird but at the same time very difficult and sad story about the Bosnians, the temporary workers in Slovenia. Their survival and the constant demand for a better place under the sun. It also movie speaks of the great longtime animosity between Bosnians and Slovenians.

A cinephile meets his favourite film maker on a beach in Ramatuelle. He proposes a film project to the director based on the painful adventures that he has just experienced. The two men work on the scenes, each in its own way. The film maker keeps pushing the project, arguing that the shooting is not good. But perhaps there's another reason not to leave the good adventure.
