Loreena McKennitt: A Moveable Musical Feast (2008)

Live in London is a live video recording of the Celtic influenced progressive music group Iona. It was recorded during 2004 at a special concert in the University of London Union in front of an enthusiastic crowd. The double DVD includes classic songs and new material. Iona is the name of a progressive Celtic rock band from the United Kingdom, which was formed in the late 1980s by lead vocalist Joanne Hogg and multi-instrumentalists David Fitzgerald and Dave Bainbridge.[1] Troy Donockley joined later, playing the uilleann pipes, low whistles, and other instruments. Also featured on the dVD is an Acoustic Set and Band Interviews.

The original buxom quartet of female singers, Lisa, Maev, Orla, and Chloe, have duly been joined by Hayley and are, as usual, backed by a full symphony orchestra and choir, plus enough traditional instruments (the house fiddler, Mairead, is a powerhouse) to keep things legit. The material ranges from folkloric, to a standard from another Celtic nation, to classical lite, to movie hits, to homegrown New Age.

This musical celebration charts the lives and careers of some of the biggest selling acts in Irish rock, punk and pop from Van Morrison and Thin Lizzy to The Undertones and U2. From the pioneers of the showbands touring in the late 50s through to the modern day, the film examines their lineage and connections and how the hardcore, rocking sound of Belfast merged with the more melodic, folky Dublin tradition to form what we now recognise as Irish rock and pop.

A Moveable Musical Feast is a unique souvenir of Loreena McKennitt’s 2007 An Ancient Muse tour and offers a rare backstage look at one of contemporary music’s most interesting live performers. Through candid interviews with Loreena, her band, crew, fans and professional colleagues from the Canadian music industry, we gain insight into her career, work ethic and the artistry that has been the foundation of her remarkable musical journey. Loreena and her fellow travellers entertain us with stories of how her show 'goes up', discuss the joys and challenges of their nomadic life when 'on the road' and share their thoughts on the creative relationships they have with each other, the music and the audience. A Moveable Musical Feast features 25 minutes of previously unreleased musical performances.

Celtic Woman is an all-female Irish musical ensemble. This album "Celtic Woman" was recorded live on 15 September 2004 at The Helix, Dublin, Ireland and was to be the first of many albums.

VOYAGE II is the second half of the concert and continues to pay homage to the musical culture of Ireland, while exploring the musical journey each soloist has undertaken since the beginning of Celtic Thunder four years ago. This time the ensemble including Keith Harkin, Ryan Kelly, Neil Byrne, George Donaldson and Emmet Cahill welcome 13-year-old Daniel Furlong to the fold as a guest artist on this recording. '돌아오지 않는 강'이란 별명이 붙어있을 만큼 물살이 거세고 위험한 강을 따라 세 사람의 여행이 시작되고. 매튜와 케이는 아옹다옹 싸움을 하는 가운데 어느덧 서로에 대한 사랑의 감정이 싹튼다. 온갖 역경을 극복하고 마침내 카운슬시에 도착한 세 사람. 케이는 웨스턴을 만나 매튜에게 사과할 것을 부탁하지만 웨스턴은 매튜에게 총을 겨누며 위협한다. 한편 이 광경을 보고 있던 마크는 아버지를 구하기 위해 웨스턴을 총으로 쏴 죽인다. 자신이 사랑했던 사람은 매튜라는 사실을 깨달은 케이. 그녀가 '돌아오지 않는 강'이란 노래를 부르며 자신을 떠난 매튜를 그리워하고 있을 때, 매튜가 살롱으로 그녀를 찾아온다. 매튜와 마크, 그리고 케이 세 사람은 새 삶을 찾아 떠난다.
