Chattambinadu (2009)

The film deals with a murder of a young woman on a train to Madras. Almost half of the film is shot inside the train.

Mahi, a seasoned convict who is well-known for attacking his enemies stealthily, decides to murder someone in order to raise money for his friend.

Ravishankar and Dennis live on Dennis’s estate in the hills. When Colonel Menon arrives with his daughters, Ravishankar wonders which one of them has been sending him amorous letters. Meanwhile, Dennis is attracted to the enigmatic Abhirami, but what does Abhirami want?

The film is about a young teacher who arrives at a village school, who tries to make a definite change in student attitude.

It is the story of a good natured but irresponsible young man, Vinod who comes to a hilly village live with his elder sister Vimala and brother in law, Shaji. Shaji is an engineer and Vinod wants to learn life from him, but end up creating problems for Shaji.

Padmanabhan master and his wife are waiting for Unni, their only son who is missing for many years. 10 year old Unni got lost in the crowd during a temple festival where he was along with his neighbour Panikkar, popularly known as Poorappanikkar. Panikkar too did not return since he decided to return only after finding Unni. Ammu is Panikkar's daughter who also believes, like master and his wife, that her father will return one day with Unni. The master finds Unni and brings him back to the Village. The villagers realize that Unni is abnormal and is mentally challenged. He behaves like a small boy and creates all sorts of trouble for the villagers and his parents.

Kunjoonju, Deepu and Ashtamurthy are studying hotel management at Pondichery. Kunjoonju is a 'Kanjirappally Achayan' who is always after girls. But his 'thrill' for a girl will end the moment he finds that she is interested in him. Abbas ,the trio's friend, arranges the top floor of a house for them to stay. The house is owned by Sophy and she she stays there with her two daughters Kamala and Padma. All three guys fall for Kamala, but Kunjunju and Deepu joins together and push Ashtamurthy out of the race by making him the 'Rakhi Brother' of Kamala. Kamala knows that Kunjunju is a flirt and so she tries to keep away from him. Deepu never tells about his love to Kamala or to Kunjunju, but Ashtamurthy knows about it. Kunjunju and Deepu falls apart after a fight and Ashtamurthy brings them together. The story takes a turn, when Sophy dies and the sisters are left alone

Krishnamurthy is appointed by a real estate company to vacate Vietnam Colony, a place buzzing with illegal and antisocial elements.

Meanwhile, in his efforts to control his alcoholic father Chacko (Innocent), from causing public nuisance, Reji takes over the fatherly role.

Balamani is the housemaid looking after Unni Amma. There are three more housemaids in the house but it is Balamani's duty to look after them too. Balamani is a devotee of Guruvayoorappan (Lord Krishna of Guruvayoor). But she could never visit the Guruvayoor temple, though her house is very near to the temple. Unni Amma's grandson Manu comes to spend a couple of weeks with Unni Amma before he goes to USA. Manu and Balamani fall in love but the whole family is against their union. Will Balamani's friend Guruvayoorappan (Lord Krishna of Guruvayoor) come to their help..?

Kannan and Dasappan are two rowdies in their village. Shathrugnan. a newcomer, is in love with Dasappan' s sister, Devootty, but she is not interested in him. Shathru joins Kannan's and Dasappan's firm, KD & Company, as the manager, in an attempt to win the love of Devootty. KD & Company keeps as hostage a music troupe who comes to their village to perform. The main singer of that troupe, Sangeetha, gets expelled from her home because of this and Kannan and Dasappan give her refuge, at the insistence of Devootty. Meenakshi and Kannan are in love. But due to some misunderstanding, Dasappan falls in love with Meenakshi and Sangeetha falls in love with Kannan. Shathru takes the responsibility of sorting it out and linking Dasappan with Sangeetha. In the chaos and confusions that follows, he manages to be victorious and wins his lady love Devootty too.

Saraswathiyamma is the head of a noble family that treats her servant Krishnan as one of her own sons. When her relatives conspire to sell her house, she and Krishnan set out to save it.

Dileep plays Solomon in Marykkundoru Kunjadu, a village simpleton who has been nicknamed Kunjadu, since he is adept at getting beaten up by people. In love with Mary (Bhavana) and at loggerheads with her three gigantic brothers, life isn't easy for Solomon. When he befriends a giant of a man who calls himself Vishnu (Biju Menon) and whom he saves from a well, Solomon starts life afresh, and learns to set his spine straight for once.

Oru Indian Pranayakatha is about the life of a young political leader and his association with a woman who comes unexpectedly into his life.

Vinod/Vinu (played by Mohanlal) is mentally ill and is hospitalized in the institution run by Dr. Ravindran ( M G Soman). Story progresses as Vinod recovers with the help of Dr. Savithri, Dr. Ravindran's daughter (Karthika) and Dr. Unnikrishnan (Nedumudi Venu) who finds that Vinu fell ill after the accidental death of his fiancée Anitha (Lizy). Later Vinu and Savithri fall in love but Savithri is already engaged to be married to her cousin, Hari(Mukesh). Plot progresses as Dr. Ravindran opposes the romance between the doctor and the recovered patient.

When businessman Appu's younger brother Hari is accused in a murder case, the former takes the blame to protect his sibling and also avenges the wrongdoing of his trade rival, Sivan.
