아빠 미첼(존 시나)은 고등학교 졸업을 앞둘 만큼 훌쩍 커버린 딸의 모습을 받아들이기 힘들다. 아쉬운 부모 마음을 모르는 딸 케일라(제랄딘 비스와나탄)와 그의 친구 줄리(캐서린 뉴튼)는 졸업파티를 기점으로 성인이 될 생각에 들떠있을 뿐이다. 미첼과 줄리의 부모는 졸업파티에서 딸들이 벌일 계획에 의심을 품고 만일의 사고를 막기 위해 고군분투한다.
