시놉시스
Jimmie Allen, a shady bookie, is in love with Pearl Proctor, a greedy dance hall girl. He schemes to get her back after she rejects him; and along the way, he revives a failing Gilbert and Sullivan troupe.
의 로버트 사이먼스가 제작을 맡은 영화. 죽마고우인 밋치와 샘은 어릴 적부터 자신을 괴롭히는 사람을 골탕먹이는 장난을 친다. 어른이 되고난 뒤에도 변변찮은 직업없이 빈둥대던 이들에게 심각한 문제가 생긴다. 심장마비로 쓰러진 샘의 아버지가 수술을 받지 않으면 죽게 된 것이다. 두 사람은 수술에 필요한 5만달러를 마련하기 위해 일자리를 구하려고 동분서주한다. 마땅한 대안을 찾지 못한 이들은 남을 대신해 복수를 해주는 ‘더티 워크 복수 대행회사’를 차린다. 밋치는 한 건물주가 아파트 주민을 몰아내 달라는 제안을 하자 아파트를 쑥대밭으로 만든다. 애덤 샌들러와 존 굿맨 등이 우정출연한다.
