Sayonara Jupiter (1984)

세 명의 테러리스트가 제네바의 국제 건강 기구에 침입한다. 그러나 출입 금지 구역에서 벌어진 총격전으로 한명은 사살되고, 나머지 두 사람은 전염성이 강한 치명적인 병균에 노출된다. 그리고 그들 중 한 명이 1,000여명의 승객을 태운 대륙 종단 초특급 열차에 무단 승차한다. 이 사실을 알게 된 미 국방부 정보국은 비상이 걸리고, 맥켄지 대령(Mackenzie: 버트 랭카스터 분)이 사건을 담당하게 된다. 그의 임무는 세균이 퍼지는 것을 막는 동시에 어떤 일이 있어도 이 일이 알려지지 않도록 하는 것이다. 한편 맥켄지와의 무선 연락으로 이 사실을 알게 된 챔버레인 박사(Dr. Jonathan Chamberlain: 리차드 해리스 분)는 그 기차에 탄 수많은 인명을 구하기 위해 맥켄지에게 협조한다. 그러는 중에도 열차 안에는 세균에 감염된 환자들이 점점 늘어가고 있었다. 하지만 챔버레인 박사는 격리 시설로 향하는 도중 지나게 되는 '카산드라 크로싱' 이라는 다리의 안정성에 의문을 제기하고, 열차 전체를 생매장하려는 맥켄지의 음모를 깨닫게 된다.

도시전역에 기괴한 전염병이 돌기 시작하더니 사람들이 하나둘 죽어간다. 더구나 죽은 시체들은 육체가 다시 살아나 가족, 애인 심지어 자식까지 잡아먹는 끔찍한 일이 여기저기서 벌어진다. 죽어도 육체만 살아나 떠다니며 사람을 식육한다는 좀비들이 도시를 온통 대혼란에 빠뜨린 것이다. 홀더박사팀과 여자, 군인 몇 명만이 도시에서 탈출한다. 이들은 전염병해독제를 개발하고, 감염지역에 소독을 한다. 곧이어 희생자를 위한 특별구급대가 형성된다. 도시에는 비상경계령이 내려지고, 군당국이 관할하는데 모든 시민들의 출입을 금지시킨다. 궁당국은 좀비들이 곧 소탕되어 정상회복은 시간문제라지만 희생자는 늘어만 간다.

그리스에 거주하는 미국인 기업가 브랙켄의 가족인 부인 엘렌, 아들 지미, 딸 수지가 극좌파 테러리스트들에게 납치된다. 범인들은 몸값으로 엄청난 양의 무기와 탄약을 요구한다. 엘렌의 전 남편 멕케이브는 국제적인 밀수꾼, 그는 신문에서 이혼한 아내와 자기 아들인 지미가 납치된 사실을 알고 엘렌의 현재 남편 브랙켄과 공동 작전을 펴기로 한다. 범인들이 보내온 가족사진의 배경그림을 통하여 범인들의 은신처가 절벽 위에 있는 버려진 사원이라는 사실을 알아낸 멕케이브는 6인의 행글라이더 동호인들에게 접근하여 거액을 제시하고 승락을 얻어낸 후 야간에 함께 행글라이더로 절벽위 사원으로 접근한다. 가족들을 구출하여 나오다가 납치범들에게 발각되어 치열한 총격전이 벌어지고, 뒤쫓아온 브랙켄과 경찰의 지원으로 납치범들을 일망타진하고 가족은 무사히 구출된다.

Eccentric scientist Dr. Daniel and his shy assistant Max lead a quiet life on their space station, carrying out illegal research on androids, until they receive an unwelcome visit from three fugitives one of whom is female. Both Dr. Daniel and Max show an interest in her, but one of the other visitors has more sinister intentions.

A spaceship gets lost and is forced to make an emergency landing on an unknown planet. The planet looks much like Earth, only with no trace of civilization. Soon the crew discovers that there are bloodthirsty dinosaurs on the planet. The crew hopes to be found and rescued, but until then, they must fight to survive.

방콕의 소방관 샤른은 우연히 슈퍼히어로의 능력을 얻게 된다. 악당들에게 어머니와 여동생이 납치되는데 이 악당들은 다름 아닌 아프가니스탄 출신의 테러리스트들이다. 이들의 목표는 미국 공격. 방콕의 머큐리맨이 미국 평화를 위해 아프간 테러리스트와 결전을 벌인다. 대부분의 아시아 슈퍼히어로들이 미국 슈퍼히어로의 흔적을 간직하고 있는 것은 흔한 일이지만 은 비단 시각적으로 드러나는 이미지뿐 아니라 그들의 세계관까지 고스란히 이접된 것처럼 보인다는 점에서 이채롭다. 태국의 슈퍼히어로가 미국을 공격하려는 아프가니스탄 테러리스트와 싸운다는 설정은 다소 엉뚱하게 느껴지지만 미국 시장 진출을 위한 태국 슈퍼히어로의 포석일 가능성도 배제할 수 없다. Kickboxing champion Matt Reeves witnesses the murder of his friend Johnny. While investigating the crime, he learns that a Mr. Negaal in South Africa has founded a new kickboxing association and does not leave international champions much of a chance. Johnny had to pay with his life when he did not want to join. Neegal seems to kill everybody who is in his way especially David Sloan from the previous Kickboxer films. Matt is on his own now, but suddenly finds an unexpected ally.

A planet is discovered in the same orbit as Earth's but is located on the exact opposite side of the sun, making it not visible from Earth. The European Space Exploration Council decide to send American astronaut Glenn Ross and British scientist John Kane via spaceship to explore the other planet.
