The Intruders (1970)

프랭크가 보낸 세명의 총잡이가 기차역에서 누군가를 기다린다. 드디어 그들이 기다리던 한 남자가 하모니카를 불며 기차역에 도착하고, 그들 세 총잡이는 모두 이름 없는 그 남자의 총에 쓰러진다. 한편, 프랭크와 그 부하들은 아일랜드 출신인 맥베인 일가를 잔인하게 살해하는데, 뉴올리언즈에서 이제 막 도착한 맥베인의 새 아내 질로서는 황망할 수밖에 없다. 두 사람은 한달 전 이미 결혼을 한 상태였다. 다시 뉴올리언즈로 돌아가려던 질은 마음을 고쳐먹고 맥베인과 아이들의 시체만 있는 그 집에서 혼자 생활을 시작한다.

황야의 무법자 냇 러브(조너선 메이저스)는 숙적 루퍼스 벅(이드리스 엘바)이 출소한다는 소식에 흩어졌던 팀을 불러 모아 미뤄뒀던 복수를 다시 시작한다. 이 계획에 함께 뛰어든 이들은 옛 연인 '역마차' 메리(자시 베츠), ‘왼팔이자 오른팔’인 성질 나쁜 빌 피켓(에디 가세기)과 빠른 총잡이 짐 벡워스(RJ 사일러) 그리고 어제의 적에서 오늘의 아군으로 돌아선 미지의 인물 등이 있다. 하지만 루퍼스 벅 일당도 만만치 않다. 위험천만한 트루디 스미스(레지나 킹), 체로키 빌(러키스 스탠필드) 같은 사전에 패배란 없는 무시무시한 강자들이 합류해 힘을 보탠다.

톤토를 떠나 로즈버그로 향하는 역마차 안에는 각양각색의 인물이 타고 있다. 마을에서 쫓겨난 매춘부 달라스와 남편을 만나러 여행길에 오른 부인, 면허를 박탁당한 개똥철학자이자 알콜중독자인 의사, 언변 좋은 사기 도박꾼 햇필드, 사기꾼 은행가, 위스키 장사꾼, 보안관 등등.... 그리고 여기에 아버지와 형을 죽인 원수를 찾고 있는 탈옥수 링고 키드가 합류한다. 보안관은 감옥에서 탈출한 링고 키드를 주의 깊게 관찰하지만 진짜 위험은 링고가 아닌 다른 곳에서 시작된다. 제로니모를 위시한 아파치 무리가 역마차를 공격한 것이다. 역마차가 아파치들의 공격을 받는 동안 범법자 링고는 자신을 버린 사회를 위해 영웅적인 활약을 펼친다.

전설적인 총잡이 `빌리 더 키드`(데인 드한)는 미국을 뒤흔든 희대의 현상 수배범으로 쫓기고 있는 상황. 여기에, 자비 없는 추격자 `개릿`(에단 호크)까지 합류하며 `빌리 더 키드`는 벼랑 끝에 내몰려 결국 체포되고 만다. 이에, `빌리 더 키드`는 탈옥을 하고자 미국을 향해 선전포고하며 전면전을 감행하는데… 쫓고 쫓기는 무법 질주 액션이 시작된다!

To fully appreciate the western comedy The Marshal's Daughter, one must be aware that its star, a zaftig, wide-eyed lass named Laurie Anders, was in 1953 a popular TV personality. A regular on The Ken Murray Show, Anders had risen to fame with the Southern-fried catchphrase "Ah love the wi-i-i-ide open spaces!" Striking while the iron was hot, the entrepreneurial Murray produced this inexpensive oater, which cast Anders as Laurie Dawson, the singing daughter of a U.S. marshal (Hoot Gibson). Teaming with her dad to capture outlaw Trigger Gans (Bob Duncan), Laurie briefly disguises herself as a masked bandit. Amidst much stock footage from earlier westerns and a plethora of lame jokes and dreadful puns, The Marshal's Daughter is a treat for trivia buffs, featuring such virile actors as Preston S. Foster, Johnny Mack Brown, Jimmy Wakely and Buddy Baer as "themselves."
