The Ghoul (1933)

Cantinflas, who owns a cleaning business, cleans the windows of the house of a famous French actress. While carrying out his work he observes how a man steals one of the famous actress necklaces, but he can only see his back.

Cantinflas works as a porter, who writes letters and speeches in his old writing machine to earn an extra money, despite the fact that he still goes to school. The sentimental issues come when Cantinflas falls in love of his pretty neighborhood (Silvia Pinal), who is handicapped and unable to walk. The thing wont be easy, because a young military man also has feelings for the girl. But the porter wants to see her happy, and he will become a sort of Cyrano De Bergerac, writing love letters to her signed by the young soldier. His plan is simple: to win money in the horse races in order to pay the operation which will make her walk again.

Cantinflas, a traveling photographer, is captured by some gangsters while trying to get some flowers for his girlfriend. The gangsters have confused him with the assistant of Dr. Penongo, a scientist who has discovered the formula of a new atomic bomb. Meanwhile, Penongo has suffered a car accident and has lost his memory ...

A college professor who believes there's no place for jealousy in modern marriage, John Hathaway (Don Ameche) moves with his wife, Julie (Rosalind Russell), to New York where he plans to publish a book on the subject. Meeting with publisher Elliott Morgan (Van Heflin), who falls head over heels for Julie, John is assigned to his assistant Nellie (Kay Francis), who only has eyes for her boss. Working closely with Nellie, who Julie thinks is after her husband, John continues his high-minded ways while his angry spouse schemes to make him so jealous he'll knock Elliott's block clean off.

Spain. The Basque Country. Sometime in the 90s. Josu Jon, a young member of a terrorist organization, has suffered an almost complete memory loss after being wounded in a shooting with the Spanish police. As he awaits for his trial, his condition is being treated at the prison hospital. Other inmates belonging to the same organization try to make him remember how brave a "gudari" -a Basque soldier- he is and how he must go back to the armed fight for the independence of their country as soon as he gets out of prison. Meanwhile, Xabier, a college professor who has been death-threatened by the terrorists due to his political views on the Basque situation, is having an affair with Francesca, a young psychologist who happens to end up trying to help Josu Jon recover his memory. A warm feeling of mutual affection grows between her and her patient. At a point, it doesn't seem to be clear whether Josu Jon really wants to recover his memory or rather forget forever who he actually is.

A married college professor decides to seduce her student, whom she hired as a handyman for her yacht. The hesitant student succumbs to his buxom professor, but their romance is interrupted by her corrupt husband and a masked murderer.

한 때, 영화감독이었던 성준은 서울에 올라와 북촌에 사는 친한 선배 영호를 만나려 하지만 전화를 받지 않는다. 성준은 전에 알던 여배우를 우연히 만나 얘기를 나누고 헤어진다. 인사동까지 내려와 혼자 막걸리를 마시는데 앞 좌석에 앉은 영화과 학생들이 합석을 하자고 하고, 술이 많이 취한 성준은 옛 여자의 집으로 향한다. 그리고 다음날인지 아니면 어떤 날인지 분명치 않지만, 성준은 여전히 북촌을 배회하고 있고, 또 우연히 전에 알던 여배우를 만나 얘기를 나누고 헤어진다. 친한 선배를 만난 성준은 선배의 후배인 여교수와 셋이서 [소설]이란 술집을 가게 되는데, 술집 주인은 성준의 옛 여자와 너무나 많이 닮았다. 그리고 다음날인지 아니면 또 다른 어떤 날인지 분명치 않고, 성준은 선배와 [정독 도서관]을 찾아가 이야길 나누고 전직 배우를 만나 술을 마신다. 그들에게 다시 같은 여교수가 합류하고 네 사람은 [소설]이란 술집을 가게 된다. 성준은 술김에 그 술집의 여주인과 키스를 나누게 된다. 그리고 다시, 다음날인지 아니면 또 다른 어떤 날인지 분명치 않을 날의 아침이 시작된다.

영화과 학생 옥희는 자신이 사귀었던 한 젊은 남자와 한 나이 든 남자에 대한 영화를 만들었다. 아차산이란 곳에 만 일 년을 사이에 두고 각 남자와 한 번씩 찾아왔던 경험을 영화적으로 구성해본 것이다: 그 산에서 각기 다른 두 남자와의 경험을 공간별로 짝을 지어놓고 보여준다. 주차장, 산 입구, 정자 앞, 화장실, 목조 다리 앞, 산 중턱 등의 공간에서 각자 다른 행동과 대화들, 그들과의 모습이 짝지어 보여지면서 우린 두 경험 사이의 차이와 비슷함을 구체적으로 보게 된다. 그리고 우린 옥희와 두 남자 사이의 관계에 대한 어떤 총체적 그림을 보고 있다고 느끼게 된다.

An out-of-work professor gets a break from an old college buddy to teach at an exclusive girl's school. But events conspire against him: he finds an abandoned child which he takes under his wing, despite the school's rules against teachers having a family; and the girls in the school resent his replacing a handsome and popular teacher, and do everything in their power to get him fired.

Crusty Dr. McRory of Fallbridge, Maine, hires his vacation replacement sight unseen. Alas, he and young singing Doctor Jim Pearson don't hit it off; but once he meets teacher Trudy Mason, Pearson is delighted to stay. The locals, taking their cue from McRory, cold-shoulder Pearson, especially Trudy's stuffy fiancé. But then, guess who needs an emergency appendectomy?

A feature film. Tarzan, who has returned to Africa after living in England, sets off to Guatemala in search of an old friend who may have survived a plane crash there. Also in Guatemala are Ula Vale and Major Martling who are out to find the riches of the Green Goddess. They join forces after they learn that a competitor, Raglan, has already set out ahead of them. Tarzan has to rescue everyone after they are taken prisoner. When they get to the hidden city, Tarzan finds his friend alive and the fabulous treasure.

Ub Iwerks dusts off the skeletons from his early-Disney days and puts them to work at Columbia… in a graveyard replete with eerie owls and surrealistic bats, skeletons begin to rise from their graves and form a loosely-jointed band.
