야심에 가득 찬 젊은 과학자 ‘프랑켄슈타인’은 곱추인 조수 ‘프리츠’와 함께 시체의 신체부위들을 절단해 괴물 인조인간을 만드는 실험을 계속한다. 한편, 프랑켄슈타인의 약혼녀인 ‘엘리자베스’는 약혼자가 시계탑 안에서 하고 있는 이상한 실험에 대해 불안해 하다, 실험을 막기 위해 의대 교수인 발드만 박사와 함께 시계탑을 찾아간다. 하지만 그녀가 도착했을 때, 번개를 맞은 괴물이 생명을 얻게 된다. 약혼녀의 설득에, 프랑켄슈타인은 괴물을 시계탑 속에 가두고, 약혼녀에게 돌아간다. 한편, 범죄자의 뇌가 이식된 괴물은 증오와 살인 욕구에 불타올라 조수인 프리츠를 살해한 후 마을을 찾아간다. 괴물의 위협이 커져가자 마을 사람들과 ‘프랑켄슈타인’은 괴물을 쫓기 시작한다. 그리고 ‘프랑켄슈타인’은 괴물과 낡은 풍차에서 마주친다. 두 사람의 대결에서 ‘프랑켄슈타인’은 간신히 목숨을 건지지만, 마을 사람들은 프랑켄슈타인이 갇힌 풍차에 불을 지른다

Grazia is a free-spirited mother-of-three married to shy fisherman Pietro and living on the idyllic but isolated island of Lampedusa in the Mediterranean Sea. She shows signs of manic depressive behavior — one moment she's laughing wildly and swimming half-naked in the sea, while the next she's curled in a ball on her bed. 버마군에 맞서 싸워 전설이 된 11명의 마을 사람 이야기. 1763년 망그라 왕은 버마의 왕권을 잡고, 국내의 반란세력을 잠재우면서 세력을 확장해 나간다. 하지만 아유디야(태국의 전 수도)의 지지를 업은 버마의 지방 군주들은 왕권을 우습게 여긴다. 이런 이유로 망그라 왕권은 아유디야의 세력을 축소할 목적으로 침공을 감행한다. 결국 1765년, 왕은 두개의 전투부대 -망 마하 노라다가 이끄는 부대, 네메아오 스리하보디가 이끄는 부대-를 아유디야에서 집결시킬 계획을 세우고 동서로 나누어 공격을 펼친다. 아유디야로 가는 도중, 네메아오의 부대는 잠복해 있던 방라잔 마을의 사람들에게 기습을 당해 패하고 만다. 이 소식은 왕국 전역에 빠르게 퍼져 국민들의 무장봉기를 촉발하고 버마에 대항하고자하는 의지에 불을 붙인다. 참패를 당한데 자극을 받은 네메아오 스리하보디는 군사를 증강시키고, 방라잔 마을 사람들은 다시 최고의 사기로 전투를 벌이지만 리더인 포탄이 부상을 당하자 퇴각해야 하는 처지에 놓인다.
