러브 캠프 7 (1969)

두 번의 결혼에 실패한 칼라(바바라 허쉬 분)는 세 아이와 함께 LA에 살고 있다. 낮에는 일을 하고 밤에는 더 나은 직장을 얻기 위해 야간 비서학교에서 타이핑을 배운다. 어느 날 늦게 집에 온 칼라는 눈에 보이지 않는 실체로부터 폭행을 당한다. 두번째의 폭행시도가 있던 날 밤엔 아이들을 데리고 가까스로 친구의 집으로 피신해 화를 면한다. 그 후로도 보이지 않는 실체는 계속 그녀를 괴롭힌다. 출근길 실체 때문에 교통사고를 낸 칼라는 정신과 의사인 스나이더만(론 실버 분)의 치료를 받는다. 심령학을 믿지 않는 그는 문제의 원인을 칼라의 성적 피해의식에 의한 자각증상으로 간주한다. 그러나 책방에서 만난 심령심리학자 쿨리 박사(재클린 스미스 분) 일행은 칼라에게 일어난 초자연적인 현상에 관심을 갖고 관찰하던 중 실체의 존재를 과학적 실험으로 확인한다. 이들은 실체를 고립시킨 후 제거하기 위해 헬리움 용액을 사용하는 위험하고도 규모가 큰 실험을 계속한다.

한 여성이 술에 잔뜩 취해서 집으로 돌아온다. 그녀는 불이 켜진 집을 보며, 베이비시터의 부주의함을 툴툴거린다. 집 안으로 들어서자 그녀는 믿을 수 없는 상황에 직면한다. 원시인처럼 생긴 몇명의 아이들이 집을 점령했고, 베이비시터는 무참하게 토막이 난 채 살해당했다. 그리고 자신의 아이는 비닐봉지에 쓰레기처럼 담겨 있다. 이들은 숲에서 짐승처럼 살아가는 무리다. 몇몇 아이들과 남녀 성인까지 일종의 가족을 이루고 있다. 배가 고프면 숲에서 내려와 다양한 방법으로 인간을 사냥한다. 잡아온 인간은 뜯어먹거나 국을 끓여 먹고, 성인 남자는 동굴 속에 묶어두고 종족 번식을 위한 섹스 인형으로 활용한다. 이 무리의 리더는 흉악하게 생긴 여성이다. 야생에서 살아가는 이들의 삶은 문명비판이나 자연으로의 회귀를 주장하거나, 호러의 소재로 주로 활용된다. 전자는 타락하지 않은 순수성을 앞세우지만, 호러의 소재로 선택되는 순간 주제는 돌변한다. 늘 강조되는 것은 무자비한 식인 풍습이다. 인간이 인간을 먹어치우는 것은 살육과 죽음 이상의 공포를 만들어낸다.

The only things added are some subtitles, dubing, and music. Made up from such fine films as "Assault of the Killer Bimbos". They are stringed together to form a "plot" about aliens. Lots of pointless nudity, but it is somewhat well-paced. Stay for the final credits, which the narrator narrates.
