법으로 금지된 리플리컨트를 다시 제조하려는 니안더 월레스(자레드 레토)의 모습을 담아냈다. 타이렐사의 넥서스 시리즈는 통제가 불가능했다는 말에 '니안더 월레스'는 "내 리플리컨트들의 수명은 고객들이 결정합니다. 반란을 일으키지도 않고 도망치지도 않습니다. 명령에 복종할 뿐이죠"라고 말하며 본인의 명령에 절대적으로 복종하는 새로운 모델 넥서스8을 선보인다.

2022년 LA, 타이렐사는 넥서스 8을 시장에 내놓을 준비를 한다. 넥서스 8은 인간과 비슷한 자연수명을 지닌 특별판. 그러자 인간 우월주의 운동이 일어나고 성난 군중들은 레플리컨트를 색출하고 살해한다. 레플리컨트인 트리시에도 이들의 공격을 받지만 전직 군인이었던 이기가 구해준다. 이기는 트리시에와 함께 타이렐사의 레플리컨트 데이터 베이스를 없앨 계획을 세운다.
