총기 제조 기업 윈체스터가의 상속자 ‘사라 윈체스터’ 부인의 정신이상 소견서를 받아 경영권을 뺏앗기 위해 이사회에서 정신과 의사 ‘프라이스’를 윈체스터 대저택으로 보낸다. 13개의 못으로 봉인된 600개의 방, 기괴하고 거대한 이 대저택에 들어온 첫 날 ‘프라이스’는 유령을 목격하기 시작하고, 급기야 윈체스터 부인 조카의 아들이 사라지는 일이 벌어진다.

'Terror of Frankenstein' is Mystery Science Theater 3000 by way of Sartre, an icy satire of the monsters onscreen, behind the camera, and in the audience.
