When Lucian and Miranda are left alone in an isolated mansion for the weekend, their mutual attraction grows, as does their unease about the whereabouts of Miranda's ex-boyfriend who may be hiding somewhere in the house.
다이아몬드를 차지하기 위한 갱들의 모의가 시작되고 있던 런던의 한 클럽에서 갑자기 두 명의 무용수가 사라진다. 당장 앞으로의 쇼에 오를 사람이 없어 급하게 대체할 무용수들을 헝가리에서 데려오기로 하는데… 이는 사실 다른 파의 갱에서 다이아몬드를 차지하기 위해 스파이를 심어놓기 위한 작전으로 헝가리에서 두 명의 스파이가 클럽에서 보낸 헬리콥터를 타러 가던 와중에 이러한 사실은 전혀 알지 못하는 두 헝가리 남자가 우연히 런던행 헬리콥터에 오르게 된다. 갱들의 다이아몬드 쟁탈전에 어쩌다 끼어든 대책 없는 남자들의 인생 역전! 과연 이루어 질 수 있을까?
As most of the world moves forward toward gay equality, Russia is seemingly heading backward. Antigay sentiment and legislation are spreading rapidly throughout the country. In 2013, the Russian parliament passed a ban on so-called 'gay propaganda' that effectively makes nearly any public discussion of gay equality a crime. Unlike most Italian films of the 1940s, Augusto Genina's Cielo Sulla Palude opened in Venice rather than Rome. The film's American title was Heaven Over the Marshes, and indeed most of the story is set in the disease-ridden Pontine Marshes on the outskirts of Rome. This was the home of Maria Goretti, a pious young girl who was murdered by her would-be seducer. For reasons elucidated in the course of the film, Maria's short time on earth made her worthy of Sainthood, which was actually bestowed upon her shortly after the release of this film. Maria Goretti is well-played by Ines Orsini. Cielo Sulla Palude served as the comeback feature for director Augusto Genina, whose previous pro-fascist films had caused him to be blacklisted after WW II.

Despite of (or perhaps because of ) its sparse production values and unpretentiousness, the Italian Gli Innamorati was feted at the 1956 Cannes Film Festival. The bulk of the story takes place in a single Roman neighborhood. In the manner of the 1925 German classic A Joyless Street, director Mauro Bolognini studies the hopes, dreams, successes and failures of the neighborhood's various and sundry denizens. No one subplot dominates the proceedings, though a bit of extra time is afforded the story of a fickle seamstress and her seemingly meek-and-mild boyfriend. The cast is dotted with such reassuringly familiar faces as Nino Manfredi and Gino Cervi. Released in the US as Wild Love, Gli Innamorati was instrumental in bringing international fame to director Bolognini, whose career soon shifted into high drive.

비영리 단체 ‘제논 산 농장 (ZMF)’은 매년 장애인 배우와 함께 단편 영화를 생산한다. 는 이곳에서 수행했던 많은 프로젝트 중 하나인 영화 ‘비커밍 불릿프루프’ 의 메이킹 필름이다. 제논 산 농장 설립자들의 목적은 편견과 고정 관념을 뛰어넘는 지역 사회를 만드는 것이다. 그들은 장애인이 차별이나 물리적인 이유로 기회가 차단되지 않는 곳을 만들길 원하며, 장애인 배우를 캐스팅하고 영화를 찍는 동안 배우들과 일상생활을 함께한다. ‘비커밍 불릿프루프’의 주인공, 중증 뇌성 마비를 가진 머레이는 지속적인 통증에도 불구하고 배우로서 자신의 꿈을 실현하기 위한 모습을 보여준다. 그 밖에 다른 장애를 가진 배우들, 영화 제작자들과 함께 카메라 안에 담기는 과정을 보여준다. 영화가 완성되어가는 과정에서 설립자들과 배우들은, 사회가 장애인을 격리하고 가족에 대한 의존도만을 높이며 그저 한 사람으로서, 배우로서 일상생활에서 그들에게 제공되지 않은 것들에 대해 말한다. 그리고 머레이는 대중문화에서 자리를 갖고 싶다고 말하며 우리의 폭넓은 문화에서 장애인의 배제와 소외에 대한 중요한 질문을 제기한다. 이 영화는 우리와 다른 사람들의 이야기가 아닌 그저 영화를 사랑하는 사람들이 영화를 만들어가는 과정을 보여주는 우리의 이야기이며 장애인에 대한 낙인과 억압에서 벗어난 장애인과 비장애인의 진정한 공존, 그저 옆에 있는 사람들과 함께 살아가는 이야기를 담고 있다.
