Herman the Clown sets out to find his father, whom he hasn't seen since he set off to measure the Earth with his feet. He is secretly followed by the son of Max the Magician, ten-year-old Roni. And so begins an exhilarating adventure full of magic, twists and colorful circus life.

Several children spend a day in the forest and learn from Smokey Bear the five rules to fire safety.

Poppy Valentine, a young circus performer who has grown up in her family's traveling circus, has never dreamed of what life would be like outside of its fences. However, now in her mid-20s and with more unwelcomed responsibility weighing her down, she's desperate to figure out if this life is for her. As she slowly begins to take time for herself, finding independence and even love, she strains her relationship with those around her in the tight-knit circus community. In the end, amidst her overprotective father, stressful circus expectations, and her blossoming curiosity for a life of her own, she must find a way to be happy.

허우 샤오시엔감독의 2007년작 의 모티브가 되기도 한 이 영화는, 지금까지도 전 세계 어린이 날에 단골 방영되는 영화이다. 감독 알베르 라모리스의 친아들 파스칼 라모리스가 연기한 어린 아이와 그 곁을 따라다니는 빨간 풍선 사이의 우정이 따뜻하게 그려진다. 파리에 사는 한 소년과 빨간 풍선의 우정이야기. 풍선은 다른 사람들의 손에는 닿지 못할 거리에서 애완견처럼 소년의 곁을 따라 다닌다. 그러나 결국엔 다른 소년들의 무리가 풍선을 망가뜨린다. 그러자 다양한 색깔과 크기의 풍선들이 파리전역에서 소년에게 몰려와 소년을 하늘 저 멀리 수평선까지 데리고 간다. 단지 다섯 줄의 대사를 가졌음에도, 1956년 황금종려상(최고 단편 부문)을 수상하고 아카데미 각본상을 받은 이 영화는, 대사 없이도 물 흐르듯 부드럽게 이어지는 전개를 가진 최고의 영화로 손꼽힌다. 후엔 허우 샤오시엔(후효현) 감독 줄리엣 비노쉬 주연의 프랑스 영화 의 모티브가 되었다. On holiday with their mother in the Lake District in 1929 four children are allowed to sail over to the nearby island in their boat Swallow and set up camp for a few days. They soon realise this has been the territory of two other girls who sail the Amazon, and the scene is set for serious rivalry.

고집불통 개구쟁이 아홉살 맥스는 외롭다. 아빠는 떠났고, 누나는 놀아주지 않는데다 왠일인지 엄마는 늘 바쁘기만 하다. 어느 날 엄마의 새 남자친구 때문에 심통이 난 맥스는 한바탕 소동을 피우고 엄마에게 꾸중을 들은 뒤 집을 뛰쳐나간다. 작은 배를 타고 여행을 떠난 맥스. 바다를 가로질러 소년이 도착한 곳은 바로 ‘괴물들이 사는 나라’. 그곳에서 맥스는 신비롭고 이상하고 거대한 괴물들과 조우하는데, 그들은 오랜 시간 동안 자신들의 지도자가 되어줄 누군가를 기다려왔다. 결국 맥스는 괴물들이 사는 나라의 왕이 되고 모두가 행복할 수 있는 나라를 만들겠다고 다짐한다. 하지만 맥스의 뜻대로 통치는 순탄치만은 않다.

평생 모험을 꿈꿔 왔던 칼 할아버지는 재개발 공사 현장의 인부를 실수로 다치게 하고 집을 빼앗길 위기에 처한다. 그 동안 미뤄 왔던, 먼저 세상을 떠난 아내와의 약속을 지키기 위해 그는 수천 개의 풍선을 매달아 집을 통째로 남아메리카로 날려 버린다. 하지만 이 위대한 모험에 초대 받지 않은 불청객이 있었으니, 바로 황야의 어린이 탐험가 러셀. 우여곡절 끝에 도착한 남미에서 칼은 어린 시절의 우상이었던 위대한 모험가 찰스 먼츠를 만나게 되는데... 그들은 과연 남미의 잃어버린 세계에서 사라져 버린 꿈과 희망, 행복을 다시 찾을 수 있을까?

This was the second of the Russian Winnie-the-Pooh series. This one had Pooh and Piglet visiting Rabbit for a meal with honey.

Another Russian Winnie-the-Pooh story. This time the donkey, known from the Pooh stories as Eeyore, is sad because he has no tail. Pooh goes in search of one and finds it attached to a bell that hangs from the treehouse of one Owl.

A Soviet cult cartoon, so untypical for a Western viewer, especially, a little one. A boy named Malysh ("A Little One") suffers from solitude being the youngest of the three children in a Swedish family. The acute sense of solitude makes him desperately want a dog, but before he gets one, he "invents" a friend - the very Karlson who lives upon the roof. So typical for the Russian culture spirit of mischief, which is, actually, never punished, and the notion that relative welfare not necessarily means happiness made the book by Astrid Lindgren and its TV adaptations tremendously popular in the Soviet Union and nowadays Russia and vice versa - somewhat alienated to the Western reader and viewer (see User's comments below). However, both the book and the cartoon are truly universal - entertaining and funny for the children and thought-provoking and somewhat sad for grownups.

Little Fedor brings a cat to home despite his mother's distaste for cats. He runs away with his talking cat, to make more friends on the way.

평생 강도질로 감옥을 드나들다 옥사한 세르게이 바그로브의 둘째 아들 다니엘라. 다니엘라는 군대에 몸담고 있다가 그만두고 할 일이 없어 집에서 논다. 어느 날 거리를 배회하다 어떤 음악에 이끌려 영화 촬영장까지 다다른다. 촬영장에서의 마찰로 경찰서까지 가게 되자 다니엘라의 엄마는 신세한탄을 하며 다니엘라에게 레닌그라드에 있는 형을 찾아가라고 한다. 형을 찾아가던 다니엘라는 노상 자판을 벌인 독일인을 건달의 손에서 구해주고 그와 친해진다. 레닌그라드에서 형을 만난 다니엘라는 암흑가의 청부업자인 형의 일을 돕기 시작하는데, 어느 새 형이 자신을 배신했다는 걸 알게 되지만 형을 용서한다. 더니엘라는 대도시에서 점점 타락해 가고 약해지는 이간 군상을 보고 회의에 빠지지만 새 삶을 결심한 듯 차를 얻어타고 음악을 들으며 모스크바로 향한다.
