It is said that a corpse should be exhumed and moved every 30 years to ensure continued fortune and prosperity for its descendants. As the time limit is nearing for his grandfather's corpse, TV station boss Kelvin Chow (Kelvin Kwan, Tales from the Dark 2) looks to Charlie Jiang (Yuen Biao), whose ancestors performed the ritual for the Chow family, to complete the task. When Jiang refuses, citing his belief that the ritual is unethical, Chow enlists Nicky and Boo to coerce him into it. However, a series of accidents causes the corpse to be delivered to and left at Chow's TV station, unleashing a bloodbath.

Typically you know what you are getting into when you go see a movie billed as "romantic comedy." And often they lack romance or comedy and sometimes both. Not to mention that the simplicity of the characters often make the movie very predictable. That said, romantic comedies often don't work overall and viewers are left with a few good moments here or there. All that is said to explain what you won't find in "Fool For Love." That is because the two main characters, in particular Dustin Nguyen's character "Dung" have a complexity to them that creates a real life foundation from which the romance and comedy can be built.

1920년, 프랑스 치하의 베트남. 프랑스는 베트남 출신 무술 고수들로 호위대를 결성하여 독립군의 정신적 지주 디칸을 체포하라는 명령을 내린다. 호위대는 그를 색출하기 위해 무고한 사람들을 학살하고 그의 딸 쑤이를 잡아들여 온갖 고문을 가한다. 한편, 쑤이의 고문을 지켜보며 조직의 만행에 회의를 느껴가던 호위대 소속 청은 그녀의 탈출을 도우며 조직으로부터 도망친다. 호위대의 끈질긴 추격에 생사를 함께 한 두 사람은 서로에게 점점 끌리지만 쑤이는 여전히 자신을 돕는 청에 대한 의심을 떨치지 못한다. 두 사람이 조금씩 디칸의 은둔지에 가까워 질수록 그들을 뒤 쫓는 호위대의 포위망은 점점 좁혀져만 가는데..
