Famous For Being Famous is a 150 minute found footage compilation film comprised of clips from the internet (archive interviews and paparazzi clips) showcasing Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian's meteoric rise to fame. In 2005, Paris Hilton was the most googled item in the world and defined what it means to be a celebrity in the new millennium. Today, Paris has launched her brand on an international level while Kim Kardashian has dominated US headlines and amassed 50 million Instagram followers. Our culture has always been fascinated with elite members of society, but with the power of social media and reality television, more people than ever can obtain fame.
