Penn & Teller: Off the Deep End is a two-hour special that premiered on NBC on November 13, 2005. 숲 속에서 홀로 거닐던 유니콘은 어느 날, 자신이 마지막 유니콘이며 다른 유니콘들은 어디론가 다 사라져 버렸다는 것을 깨닫게 된다. 다른 유니콘들의 행방을 찾기 위해 숲을 나와 여행을 시작하는 유니콘. 정신나간 나비에게서 붉은 황소를 쫓아가라는 말을 듣고 인간세계로 나오지만 순수함을 잃어버린 사람들은 유니콘의 뿔을 알아차리지 못하고 그녀(유니콘)를 단순히 백마로 착각한다. 유니콘을 알아본 마녀 포르투나에 의해 사로잡혀 구경거리로 전락해 버린 유니콘은 슈멘드릭이라 불리는 젊은 마법사의 도움으로 무사히 탈출하여, 슈멘드릭과 여행 도중 만난 몰리와 함께 붉은 황소와 다른 유니콘들을 찾기 위한 여행을 계속하게 된다. 여행 도중 결국 붉은 황소와 맞닥뜨린 유니콘. 붉은 황소의 무시무시한 기세 앞에 그녀는 절체절명의 위기에 처하게 되고, 다급한 상황에서 슈멘드릭이 읊은 마법주문은 예상 외의 결과를 낳아 유니콘을 아리따운 여인으로 변모시키게 되는데... 그녀는 과연 다시 본모습을 찾고, 그녀들의 동족들을 찾을 수 있을 것인가.

But the jewel in David's crown is his shot at the infamous The Bullet Catch; a trick which sees a 22 calibre bullet being fired at point blank range directly at the magician who then has to catch the bullet in a small metal cup in his mouth. The stunt is filmed using Phantom Camera technology which shoots 10,000 frames per second so that not a fraction of the action is missed.
