홀리 에어 (2017)

The comedy in this lively film barely conceals its darker, more serious undertones as it chronicles a young Algerian's eye-opening introduction to the joys and travails of being an immigrant in Paris. Alilo has left his home to pick up an important suitcase for his employer. Unfortunately, he has lost the Parisian address. Fortunately, his cousin Mok, emigrated there several years before with his middle-class family before and is able to act as a guide. Mok, an aspiring rap singer, comes from a middle-class family, but chooses to live on his own in the dilapidated deteriorating 18th district, known as 'Moskova.' Mok characterizes the place as a haven for artists and intellectuals, but it is plainly just a Third World slum filled with tightly knit and colorful neighbors. Mok and Alilo have many interesting, some tragedy-tinged adventures over the five days it takes them to find the suitcase.

Nassim, in his early thirties, lives in Abu Dhabi with his American fiancée, Elisabeth. After several years of absence, he returns with her to Bollene, a town in the South of France where he grew up. But Nassim must face his past: a dead city now governed by the far right party, a complex relationship with his family, and a father, he no longer speaks to.

활발한 성격에 귀여운 애완 햄스터 핍스퀵은 주인 케이티의 가장 친한 친구. 그러나 방을 엉망으로 만들어버린 핍스퀵에게 케이티가 화를 내자 핍스퀵은 집을 떠나기로 한다. 핍스퀵이 유성을 타고 도착한 곳은 쥬쥬. 길 잃은 햄스터들이 찾아오는 곳이다. 핍스퀵은 그곳에서 꾸미기 좋아하고 소심한 넘넘스, 스케이트 보드를 잘 타는 만능 해결사 미스터 스퀴글스, 파도타기를 즐기는 청크를 만난다. 자칭 ‘햄스터를 돕는 스컹크’라고 밝히는 스팅거는 꿈과 행복을 이뤄주는 ‘쥬의 궁전’으로 안내한다며 그들을 유혹하고 핍스퀵 일행은 전설 속에 존재한다는 쥬의 궁전을 찾아나선 마법 같은 여정을 시작한다. 아마주 정글 속을 탐험하고, 눈 덮인 산을 타는 험난한 모험 속에서 일행은 핍스퀵에게 반한 아마쥬의 왕 망가왕가, 사나운 야만인 쥬라식 등 이상한 괴짜 캐릭터들을 만난다. 우여곡절 끝에 도착한 쥬의 궁전. 그러나 쥬의 궁전은 사악한 마법사 마줄라가 지배하고 있었고, 원래 쥬의 주인이었던 쥬 푸는 감옥에 갇힌 채 마줄라의 노예가 되어 있었다. 스팅거는 마줄라의 사주를 받아 궁전의 노예로 일할 햄스터들을 데려온 것이었다. 핍스퀵과 친구들은 마줄라와 대항해 쥬 푸를 구하고 궁전을 되찾기 위해 마지막 힘을 모으는데…

The two friends Claude and Serge are fundamentally different in their temperament. Similarities arise only when they try to have a relationship with a woman, because both fail equally.
