The 201 Canaries (1964)

Fiore di Levante, Zakynthos, in 1883. A young lady of noble rank, Foteini Santri, lives a carefree life with her younger brother Mimis. The arrival of her first cousin, forty-year-old Angelos Marinis, who has come to the island on vacation, puts an end to her carefree existeness and fills her with troubles and worries. Angelos falls passionately in love with her, but she doesn’t respond to his feelings, since they are related. Angelos, disappointed, returns to Athens...

A fickle and unfaithful husband, Antonis, tries to drive his rich wife crazy so that he can get his hands on her fortune, with the chauffeur and his lover as accomplices. In order to succeed, he fakes his own death, but fate, as usual, plays its own game. A game in which an old friend of his wife is also involved, a reporter on the police beat, Bekas, who is trying to solve a mystery in which strange phenomena come one right after the other, and doubts never seem to end.

A poor builder tries, with the help of his wife, to raise his three children. When he gets killed in an accident at the construction site, his oldest son undertakes the responsibility of providing for the family, facing all difficulties.

Panos comes to Athens in search for a better life. He is fed up with life in the countryside, unemployment and the whole situation with his family. He hooks up with a bunch of ambitious- but unemployed- teenagers. One night at a disco, Panos beats up a guy who is asking for trouble. He leaves the club along with his friends. The other guy cannot calm down without taking revenge so he takes his friends and they beat up Panos & co. The following night, Panos rapes the guys sister. Afterwards he apologises and they start a relationship. She gets fired from the super market where she works for helping Panos steal. Panos cannot live in misery anymore and steals a yoghurt factory with the help of his friends. The ending is tragic...

An unorganized and spoiled guy, Telis Partalis, who is only cut off for his amusement, is squandering all of his father's possessions in feasts and cartogangers. His sister, Ellie, a tasty girl and a serious lawyer, as well as Julie's rich aunt, do their utmost to avert this situation but telis is not at all aware of his own misery. His aunt is forcing him to get engaged to the wealthy Nana, who in turn is a fanatic of the spree and has the ability to bail him out of debt. They once realize that Telis has fallen to the clutches of the deft who, led by the impostor Stelios, want to take away even the factory he has inherited. Then they all buckle together, even his sister and Nana, so they take down the bad guys. The factory survives, the hero's mind is somewhat "coagulates" and the love that arises between dues and nanas seals the happy ending.

Andreas, nephew of the abbot of the Monastery of Dionysios, who died eight years previously, arrives at Agion Oros (Mount Athos) with a team of smugglers of antiquities, with the intention of stealing a gold cross set with precious gems, known as the Cross of Alexander the Great. He earns the trust of the meek and hospitable monks. However, a Jewish girl, Anna - whom, while still a baby during the war, her father had entrusted to the care of the hermit Vasileios - continues to pretend she is a young monk. She manages gradually to discover the entire scheme and acts to foil their plot.

Two young couples decide to run away from home and go to Athens in order to find the exciting life that they couldn't live at the country. The guys get busted for robbing a gas station while the girls start working at a night club. Daisy meets a young and handsome man named Panos. He is a motorcycle racing driver. They immediately start a destructive relationship. Panos tastes his first joint with her and soon they become heroin-addicts, willing to do anything in order to get their daily fix. The film goes on describing their downfall until the apocalyptic ending.

The childhood traumas of a solitary young man have a determinative effect on the formation of his personality and sexual behavior and have turned him into a rapist with the angelic face. One day, the young man, Giorgos, confides his secret to a friend and colleague named Toni, who advises him to visit a psychiatrist. At the same time, he encourages him to have a relationship with a colleague of theirs named Kaiti, who seems to be interested in him. But the police, who had been looking looking for the perpetrator all this time, finally appear.

In her memory, there are images of the past, the panic of the Asia Minor catastrophe and especially the entrance of the tsets in her village. There she lost her three-year-old son, Konstantin, whom he never ceased to look for. However, the village's mackerel maharagrite handed it over to the Germans and, in the face of the danger, they were arrested along with the wounded and a boat ride on the Turkish coast to find themselves immediately enclosed in a refugee camp. His commander is a tough second lieutenant, Osen, who is bought by the English consulate of Izmir to transfer the fugitives to Egypt.

Thomas Karatoulpanis (Dinos Iliopoulos) is a naive employee at a car show in the Thessaloniki International Trade Fair. Because of his modest personality he is constantly criticised by his mother-in-law, his uncle and his boss. The only one who supports him is his wife. But the appearance of a doppelganger who buys extravagant gifts in his name causes a ruckus. Thomas is an amateur singer and participates in the Thessaloniki Song Festival winning the first prize. This is when everyone realises that there are two people who look alike.
