미래의 일본. 고등학생인 리쿠오는 인조인간들을 좀 성능이 좋은 기계쯤으로 여기며 자라왔다. 어느 날 그는 인조인간 가정부에게서 이상한 행동을 발견하고 그가 지금까지 알고 있었던 세계에 대해 근본적인 의문을 품게 된다.

영국 사람들은 압정이나 단추, 우표 같은 작은 물건이 없어지면 "바로워즈"가 가져갔다고 믿는다. 빌려가는 사람들이란 뜻의 바로워즈(borrowers)는 몸집이 새끼손가락만하고 마루 밑 같은 보이지 않는 곳에 사는 상상 속의 요정들이다. 그런데 발견되면 뭉개질 확률이 크므로 사람 눈에 띄는 것은 금기사항이다. 문제는 이들에게도 일상용품이 필요하다는 사실. 그래서 바로워즈들은 사람들의 물건을 빌린다. 물론 허락 따위는 받지 않는다. 이들이 진공 청소기를 돌리기 위해서는 어떻게 해야 할까. 그들은 특수한 안전밸트로 이를 해결한다. 작은 사람들의 눈높이로 본 큰 세상의 물건들. 이 어울리지 않는 대칭성이 이 영화의 상상력이자 재미이다. 그렇다고 예의없는 종족은 아니다. 이들의 두 가지 신조는 "첫째, 인간의 눈에 띄지 않는다. 둘째, 필요한 만큼만 빌린다"이다.피터 휴위트 감독의 에선 이런 바로워즈 일가가, 착한 주인댁을 몰아내고 집을 철거하려는 나쁜 변호사를 혼내주고 집을 되찾아준다. 실물보다 14배나 큰 세트와 아기자기한 특수효과를 활용한 신나고 유쾌한 환상모험극.

맑시즘, 섹스, 종교 등의 주제가 혼재되어 있는 파졸리니의 영화. 매력적인 테렌스 스탬프가 부르조아 가족의 일원으로 들어가 어머니, 아버지, 아들, 딸, 하녀를 차례로 유혹해 그들의 삶에 심대한 영향을 미치는 비범한 이방인을 연기한다. 파졸리니는 지배 계급은 그들이 통제할 수 없는 단 한 가지, 섹스로 파괴될 수 있다고 가정하며, 이를 초현실적이고 감각적인 알레고리로 보여준다.

Using Charlie’s extensive knowledge of all things porn, the trio sets out to make the “first real Slovenia porn film”, in Slovenian language and everything — except the women in the film are emigrated Russian hookers, and their Slovenian isn’t very good.

In an alpine valley lies an idyllic village. High up in the mountains, facing each others across live two men: a "good grandpa" and an "evil man".

Laibach is a Slovenian avant-garde music group associated with industrial, martial, and neo-classical musical styles. They formed on June 1, 1980 in Trbovlje, Slovenia (then Yugoslavia). Laibach represents the music wing of the Neue Slowenische Kunst (NSK) art collective, of which it was a founding member in 1984. The name "Laibach" is the German name for Slovenia's capital city, Ljubljana.

Two boys, Kekec and Rozle, come to serve a farmer, with a blind daughter Mojca, as shepherds. As the night falls, the two boys start talking about a woman who lives in the mountains and is supposed to steal children. Her name is Pehta. In the morning, Kekec, Rozle and Mojca go to an Alpine cottage and Kekec promises Mojca that he will find her a remedy for her eyes. As the girl is picking flowers, Pehta arrives and takes Mojca into her cottage. She wants to keep Mojca because of her singing.

The reconstruction of creation of an influential avantguarde movement called "Novo Mesto Spring" that arrived on Slovenian cultural scene during 1920s. Within this movement worked significant local artists such as composer Mario Kogoj, painter Rihard Jakopic, poet Danijel Bohoric and many others.

A story about a couple from the bottom of the social ladder, about smuggling refugees across borders and other 'suspect' things- it is, first and foremost, an attempt to tell a story about the worst in people, wherever they may be coming from.

Set in a Slovenian coastal town in WW2, the film tells a story about villagers who help partisans to get rid of Italian, and later German authorities that ruled the town in the last years of occupation.

On the surface a straightforward tale of the search for a buried treasure, the film is a textbook example of German expressionism, with the passions of the protagonists conveyed as much through symbolism as action.

In Ljubljana lives a bus driver Stebe. He's a widower. He lives with five sons and a maid Rozi. The boys are very naughty and keep annoying Rozi and, in fact all neighbourhood. One day Rozi in desperation declares that she is leaving them, because she cant stand it no more. And she does leave, although she is fond of the boys. Soon afterwards Rozi's niece Meri comes by, asking if she might stay because she wants to find herself a job in town. Meri is good girl but cannot cope with the kitchen work as successfully as her aunt. But the whole Steb family seems to be charmed by her. Even one of Stebe's own colleagues, Tone, begins to take interest in the girl. Meri likes him too. Stebe's boys feel quite disappointed because of it. But all's well that ends well: in full conspiracy Meri qualifies as bus driver while Rozi returns to the Stebe family.

Slovenia, Australia and Tomorrow the World is a drama film with elements of comedy. The central character Boris works as a machinery maintenance man in a factory, hoping that his work and efforts will be awarded in the future. And indeed, he is given an opportunity by Cosmica, a company providing door-to-door sales and counselling services as well as investment in securities.

The only true friend he had was an wolf. Or was it a dog?

Teta Kaabour is an 83-year old family matriarch and sharp-witted queen bee of an old Beiruti quarter. She’s been gripped as of late by the silence of her once-buzzing household where she raised children and grandchildren. Resigned to Argileh smoking and day-long coffee drinking on a now-empty balcony, Teta now invokes the deepest memories of her violinist husband who died twenty years ago. She claims a preparedness to re-unite with him.
