미래의 지구는 인류를 종말시키려고 나타난 위협적인 형태의 외계 군단과 전쟁을 벌인다. 고등학교를 졸업한 조니 리코(캐스퍼 반 디엔)는 우주함대 사관학교에 진학한 여자 친구 카멘 이바네즈(데니스 리차드)의 환심을 사기 위하여 우주 방위군의 기동 보병에 자원 입대한다. 이때 그를 짝사랑하는 디지 플로레스(디나 마이어)도 자원 입대한다. 조니는 친구 에이스 레비(제이크 부시)와 함께 신병훈련소에서 고된 훈련을 받고, 마침내 힘든 훈련 과정을 우수한 성적으로 마친 다음 지구 방위군의 분대장으로 임명된다. 한편, 지구가 P혹성의 외계 군단으로부터 공격을 받아 조니의 고향인 부에노스아이레스가 지도에서 흔적도 없이 사라지는 사태가 발생하게 되는데...

The insects have completely taken over Mickey's garden. He spritzes them with insecticide, but runs out and they keep feasting. He mixes a new batch. Meanwhile, Pluto stalks a bug and gets his head stick in a pumpkin. He stumbles around and bumps into Mickey and the sprayer, giving Mickey a faceful of bug juice. He awakens to a warped reality, where the bugs and plants are giant sized, and the bugs get drunk on the insecticide and chase our heroes. Mickey recovers from his nightmare, discovering the giant worm he was wrestling was the hose.

With the help of interviews with important organizers and contemporary witnesses, the documentary reflects the history of the Love Parade, but also illuminates the dark side of how commerce and money business increasingly destroyed the real spirit, long before the emigration to other cities and the Love Parade disaster of Duisburg in 2010, which caused an era to end in deep grief.
