Shrek The Musical is a musical with music by Jeanine Tesori and book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire. It is based on the 2001 DreamWorks Animation's film Shrek and William Steig's 1990 book Shrek! It was nominated for 8 Tony Awards including Best Musical.

프라이스 가문은 몇 세대에 걸쳐서 매우 실용적이고 보수적인 남성화를 만들어왔다. 휘청대는 가업을 물려받은 젊은 찰리 프라이스는 사업체를 파산의 위기에서 구하기 위해 예상 밖의 디자인 자문 위원을 두게 된다. 그는 건방진 여장남자 카바레 가수로, 그의 충격적인 스타일과 와일드한 디자인은 꽉 막힌 낡은 공장에 신선함을 불어넣는다.

아르헨티나의 도박장에서 많은 돈을 딴 조니는 거리에서 강도의 습격을 받는다. 카지노 소유주 먼슨의 도움으로 위기를 모면한 조니는 그의 심복이 된다. 조니는 먼슨의 아내 길다를 소개받는데, 길다는 다름아닌 조니의 옛 애인. 길다와 조니는 서로에게 이끌리고 이것을 눈치챈 먼슨은 질투와 증오심을 참지 못한다. 먼슨이 비행기 사고로 죽자, 결혼하게 되는 조니와 길다. 하지만 조니는 길다의 과거 남성 편력에 대해 의심을 갖게 되고 이들의 결혼 생활은 순탄치 않게 된다. 그러던 중 죽은 줄 알았던 먼슨이 복수를 하기 위해 돌아오고, 조니와 먼슨의 최후의 격투가 벌어진다.

가난한 예술가들이 모여 사는 뉴욕 이스트 빌리지에 열정과 젊음의 에너지가 가득한 8명의 영혼들이 있다. 바로 로저, 미미, 마크, 머레인, 조엔느, 엔젤, 콜린스, 베니. 이들은 사회가 정한 규칙 보다는 자신만의 예술을 추구하며 각자가 원하는 삶을 살고 있다. 집세가 밀리고 건물이 철거 당할 위기에 놓인 그들은 집주인 베니에게 머레인의 건물 철거 반대 시위 공연을 막아주면 집세를 면제 해주겠다는 제안을 받게 된다. 하지만 그것만으로 이들의 열정과 우정, 사랑을 막기엔 역부족. 머레인을 사랑하는 마크와 룸메이트 로저는 그의 제안을 거절하며 베니의 방해 공작에도 불구하고 머레인의 변호사 조엔느와 함께 공연을 성공적으로 이끈다. 공연이 끝난 후 파티를 열고 있는 이들을 찾은 베니는 자신이 미미와 옛 애인 사이였다는 것을 이용해 파티를 엉망으로 만든다. 결국 로저와 미미는 헤어져 뉴욕을 떠나고, 모두들 각자의 길을 찾아 떠나는데...

This rendition of Stephen Sondheim's Tony Award-winning musical was recorded on the stage with its original all-star Broadway cast. Originally broadcast as part of "American Playhouse" on PBS (season ten, episode one).

The stage musical Peter Pan starring Cathy Rigby has toured the world to great acclaim. An adaptation of the famous 1954 musical directed by Jerome Robbins and starring Mary Martin, this new version is lasting proof that J.M. Barrie's tale of the boy who would never grow up is one of the kingpins of family entertainment. All the elements are in good form for this video production shot at the Mirada Theater in 2000 for the A&E Network. Some new songs have been added to the fabulous Moose Charlap-Carolyn Leigh score (which includes "Tender Shepherd," "I Gotta Crow," "I'm Flying," and "I Won't Grow Up"). But the biggest asset to this production are the spectacular flying sequences: Peter even soars over the audience at times. Martin was a stronger actress in a close-up, but Rigby is magical with her athleticism and spark, most notably in a percussion-filled song and dance number "Ugh-a-Wug.".

Amalio and Florencio are two cabaret artists who divorce their wives and stay with custody of their children. An unscrupulous cheat the two rent both of them the same dilapidated house. There will have to live both trying to get ahead as a team of magicians who happens to be a failure. But thanks to the ideas of their children, both parents are a couple of musical comedy that, despite initial failures, is a great success with the participation of the kids. Moreover Amalio and Florencio try to flirt with girls that are radically different from their wives but the kids will all the impediments that have no future.
