남극에 서식하는 황제 펭귄들은 짝짓기 시기인 겨울이 올 무렵 그들은 각자 바다에서 나와 조상 대대로 새로운 생명을 탄생시켜온 ‘오모크’라는 신비한 장소를 찾아 몇 날 며칠을 길고 긴 대상의 무리를 이루며 그들만의 은밀한 짝짓기 장소로 여행을 시작한다. 신기하게도 같은 날 같은 장소에 전부 집합한 황제 펭귄들은 암컷과 수컷은 곧 1부 1처로 짝짓기를 한 후 귀한 알을 낳는다. 알을 낳느라 지친 어미는 알을 수컷에게 맡긴 후 자신의 영양 보충과 태어날 새끼에게 먹일 먹이를 구하러 다시 바다로 떠나고, 수컷은 아무 것도 먹지 못한 채 3~4개월 동안 굶주리며 동면상태로 알을 품는다. 그리고 알이 부화되면 다시 아비는 먹이를 구하러 떠나고 어미는 돌아와 알에서 나온 새끼를 키운다. 어미와 아비가 번갈아 가며 먹이를 구해오는 동안 혹독한 추위와 눈보라, 그리고 외부의 적을 이기며 살아남은 새끼들이 독립하게 되면, 이제 모든 펭귄들이 오모크를 떠나 다시 바다로 돌아가는 마지막 여정에 오른다. 그들은 대양 여기 저기에 흩어져 4년을 보내다가 다시 짝짓기 계절이 오면 어김없이, 마치 마법에 이끌린 듯 한 날 한 장소에 모여 셀 수 없이 반복됐던 긴 여정을 다시 시작한다.

Bruce Brown's The Endless Summer is one of the first and most influential surf movies of all time. The film documents American surfers Mike Hynson and Robert August as they travel the world during California’s winter (which, back in 1965 was off-season for surfing) in search of the perfect wave and ultimately, an endless summer.

An exploration —manipulated and staged— of life in Las Hurdes, in the province of Cáceres, in Extremadura, Spain, as it was in 1932. Insalubrity, misery and lack of opportunities provoke the emigration of young people and the solitude of those who remain in the desolation of one of the poorest and least developed Spanish regions at that time. 어깨에 카메라를 짊어지고 도시의 이곳저곳을 돌아다니며 사람들의 일상생활과 다양한 도시의 모습을 촬영하는 카메라맨의 이야기를 다룬 다큐멘터리이다. 지가 베르토프는 이 영화를 '자막·시나리오·세트·배우의 도움 없이 시각적 현상을 전달하는 실험'이라고 불렀다. 그는 이 영화에서 구성주의와 몽타주 편집기법을 결합시켜 사물을 입체적으로 보여주는 한편 혁명 이후 민중들의 삶을 활기차고 낙관적으로 묘사하였다.

스턴트의 달인 아홉 명이 모여서 각종 엽기적인 스턴트를 선보인다. 일반인들은 도저히 상상조차 할 수 없는 비정상적인(?) 행위부터 재미 삼아 사람들을 놀리는 단순한 몰래 카메라 형식의 장난까지… 이렇게 그들이 벌이는 스턴트 행위를 에피소드 별로 편집하여 90분간 폭소와 입을 다물지 못하는 놀라움에 빠지게 한다. 2000년 MTV를 통해 첫 방송된 동명의 TV 시리즈를 극장 개봉용 영화로 만들었다. TV 시리즈 는 극장판의 연출을 맡은 제프 트레메인 감독과 조니 녹스빌, 의 감독 스파이크 존스가 함께 창안한 프로그램, 온갖 스턴트에 도전하는 고정 출연진의 황당하면서도 아찔한 모습을 즐기라는 컨셉이다. 극장판 역시 내용이나 구성 등 TV 시리즈와 다를 바 없다.

For a book project, photographer Timothy Greenfield-Sanders took photographs of 30 stars of adult movies, each pair of photographs in the same pose, clothed and nude. This film records the photo shoots and includes interviews with the performers and commentary from eight writers (and John Waters). The actors and writers discuss economics, nudity and exhibitionism, careers, and private lives.
