Harald Handfaste is a 15th century Swedish Robin Hood, who fights against foreign oppression. He becomes the leader of a band of highwaymen and they start dealing with the evil bailiff. He even attempts to marry Handfaste's beloved Karin, and when she refuses to subdue, the bailiff decides to execute both her, her father and a monk who has been helping them.

After a life full of guilt for having been an executioner, Abel Carbajal receives a visit from Ángela, a young woman seeking revenge against him. Unknowingly, both will find their own redemption.

After he is murdered by The Executioner, Abadiah T. Drip gets the help of God to get revenge on The Executioner. The Executioner gets the help of Satan and other residents of Hell for help. The two groups meet and a battle ensues.

"Executions" is a documentary showing real footage of the many different methods humanity has used through-out history for capital punishment. During the film, the makers point out how unjustifiable the death penalty is in every situation, so they do take a staunch stance against what they're presenting. Footage from live executions are shown in detail.

This documentary, filmed clandestinely, is based on several interviews with the executioners who worked in Spain during the early 1970s, as well as families of people executed by them.
