The Creasemaster (1992)

Darman, his daughter Ida, and Slamet the servant, go into the woods to hunt. Ida was lost when Darman and Slamet are chasing a tiger. Ida ends up in Tarsan's hut. They become close though at first, Tarsan has problems speaking the Indonesian language. Then he agrees to go to the city and learn how to be an urbanite. It is not easy as he is even harassed by Ida’s friends who do not like him.

The story begins when Toby (Ivan Jackson), a young English businessman, arrives in South Africa to take charge of a publishing firm. He knows little about apartheid and so at first sees no contradiction in developing a relationship with an elite, upper-class white woman and with a woman dedicated to fighting apartheid. But as Toby makes friends with one of the black South Africans (Zaku Mokae), and as he registers both the subtle and more obvious, deep-seated racial prejudices of the minority white population, some of the truth of the oppression here begins to dawn. That is brought to a head when tragedy strikes.

When the two sons of a local landlord have a property dispute and decide to hire Aromal and Aringodar to duel it out, Chanthu has to decide where his loyalty lies - with the family of the uncle who brought him up or with Aringodar who provided him with sanctuary.

Ah Q is a lowly peasant who wants to rise above his class, or at least get out of his grinding poverty. At first he thinks the way to do it is by marrying into a better station in life; later, he joins the revolution as he feels that is the only way he and others like him can transcend poverty. In this film version of Lu Xun's story, the character of Ah Q might benefit from a more rounded humanity to make him appealing to those not familiar with the harsh environment in China before the 1911 revolution.

우 부인은 왕 대인의 은혜에 보답하고자 그의 바보 아들 원풍과 자신의 딸 소추와 결혼시키려 하지만 소취는 이를 거부한다. 그러던 중 원풍의 아버지 왕 대인은 박쥐 요괴에게 잡혀가 목숨을 잃게 되고 원풍에게 있는 신비한 능력을 알게 된 사람들은 그 힘을 사용하여 박쥐 요괴에게 복수하려 하지만 진정한 사랑이 있어야지만 힘을 사용할 수 있다. 무거운 짐을 지게 된 소취는 원풍의 진심 어린 마음에 차가웠던 마음이 서서히 녹아 내리지만 박쥐 요괴의 습격으로 원풍이 크게 다치고 되고 이런 원풍을 살리고자 소취는 자신의 목숨을 내놓고 바보가 되었지만 또 다시 박쥐요괴의 습격을 당하는데…

Bart is a clerk for a publishing company; he has written a novel. His wife Peggy and he have five children. Bart's former girlfriend Mildred is manager of the company's Paris office. She manages to get the novel published and talks Bart into marrying her after he divorces Peggy. Initially successful, Bart must turn to writing trash to keep Mildred in money. When he sees how well his four sons and daughter Margaret have grown without his help, he asks Peggy to let them all come live with him and Mildred. Peggy agrees, but the arrival of his beloved children puts Mildred's future in jeopardy. Written by Ed Stephan
