서머셋 모옴의 원작을 영화화한 것으로 살인을 한 여인이 자신의 결백을 입증하기 위해서 그것이 정당방위였음을 주장하는 이야기. 치정살인 이후에 이어지는 재판과정을 통해 보여지는 베티 데이비스의 뻔뻔하게도 평온한 베티 데이비스의 연기 일품이고, 예상치 못한 사적인 복수과정으로 끝나는 결말도 상당히 충격적인 마무리.

미군 상병 킹(Corporal King: 조지 시걸 분)은 미군과 영국군, 호주군이 함께 수용되어 있는 연합군 전쟁 포로 수용소에서 암시장을 꾸려나가고 있다. 다른 포로들이 비참한 생활을 하는 동안 킹은 자신이 빼돌린 물품으로 주변 인물들을 자기 마음대로 부린다. 한편 킹은 영국 장교 피터 말로우(Peter Marlowe: 제임스 폭스 분)가 원주민과 대화를 하는 모습을 보고 그를 끌어들여 좀더 돈을 챙기려 한다. 말로우는 킹이 일본 장교들과도 장사를 할 수 있도록 그의 구역을 넓혀주고 두 사람은 서로 공생하며 우정을 키워간다.

A satirical comedy, I Not Stupid Too portrays the lives, struggles and adventures of three Singaporean youths - 15-year-old Tom, his 8-year-old brother Jerry and their 15-year-old friend Chengcai - who have a strained relationship with their parents. The film explores the issue of poor parent-child communication.

Arrived, he reminisces in flashback about his prewar fiancée, alluring Linda, and her disappearance during the Japanese attack. But now Linda resurfaces...with amnesia and married to rich planter Van Leyden. Meanwhile, sinister fence Mauribus schemes to get Matt's pearls.
