Geremia, an aging tailor/money lender, is a repulsive, mean, stingy man who lives alone in his shabby house with his scornful, bedridden mother. High Fidelity'로 우리에게 알려져 있는 닉 혼비의 자전적인 소설을 바탕으로 영화화 했으며, 축구에 아주 강한 집착을 보이는 한 남자의 이야기다. 닉 혼비는 이 영화에 학교 축구심판으로 잠깐 출연하기도 했다.

The life and times of Armando Feroci, a fortyish year old, who's been everything, a divorced husband, a careless father, an unreliable brother.
