Thoranai (2009)

Vasu (Ajith), a final year college student is happy go lucky. But he is forced to contest elections in the college after being persuaded by his friends (Venkat Prabhu and Arun). He, however, incurs the wrath of the local MLA Varadharajan (Charanraj), whose son is studying in the college, contests the elections too. In the course of events, the MLA's gang attacks Vasu and his friends. It's here that Vasu's father (Vijayakumar) advises the students to take a plunge in politics and teach the bad apples like Varadharajan a lesson

ellaichaamy (Vijayakanth) thinks the world of his three brothers, even giving up marriage when he learns that the woman he loves plans to send them to a hostel after the wedding. And now it is she who does all the wooing and persuades her father to get her married to Muthu.

The film revolves around an Information technology professional, who returns to Chennai from London, to set up his own business. Follows the sibling relationship and the threat from the rowdy.

Murugan falls in love with an aspiring cop, Archana and tries to make her a cop using his rapport with Jacket. The minister on his deathbed, confides with Jacket where he has stashed billions of cash but an irked relative leads him into an accident that wipes out his memory. Murugan and Jacket's attempts wriggle out of the situation is what the rest of the movie has in store.
