France at the end of the 18th century—after several years from the French Revolution, in which the downtrodden common men and women rose up for freedom and sent many a noble to the guillotines of the Revolutionary Government. English aristocrat Sir Percival Blakeney [Percy] (Yuzuru Kurenai), opposed to the reign of terror, was hiding his true identity to assist falsely arrested nobles flee France, calling himself the “Scarlet Pimpernel,” after a star-shaped red flower in England. Chauvelin (Makoto Rei), the chief agent of the Committee of Public Safety of the Revolutionary Government, was hunting for the Scarlet Pimpernel to reveal his identity. 1963년 베이비(제니퍼 그레이)라는 애칭의 프란시스는 의사인 아버지 제이크(제리 오바하)와 어머니 마조리, 언니 리사와 함께 켈러만 산장으로 피서를 간다. 같은 또래의 젊은이들이 많이 있는 그곳에서는 저녁이면 댄스 파티를 즐긴다. 그러다 베이비는 댄스 교사 자니(패트릭 스웨이즈)와 그의 파트너인 페니(신시아 로즈)가 추는 춤에 매료된다. 베이비는 임신한 페니 대신 댄스 경연대회에 나가기 위해 연습을 하고 춤을 추면서 자니와 베이비는 사랑에 빠진다. 그러나 페니가 돌팔이 의사에게 중절수술을 받고 사경을 헤매게 되지만 의사인 베이비 아버지의 도움으로 살아나지만 자니는 아이의 아버지로 오인받고 해고된다. 피서 마지막 발표회에서 돌연 등장한 자니는 베이비와 환상적 더티댄싱을 선보인다.
세계적인 초콜릿과 과자 재벌 윌리 윙커(Willy Wonka: 진 와일더 분)는 어느날 100개의 초콜릿 상자 속에 단 5개의 황금 티켓을 넣어 발매하였다는 발표를 한다. 티켓을 찾아낸 어린이들은 평생 동안 웡카 초콜릿을 무상으로 공급받을 수 있고, 비밀에 싸인 웡카 공장의 견학을 할 수 있는 자격이 생긴다. 온세계는 웡카 열풍에 휩싸이고, 어른이며 애며 할 것없이 웡카 초콜릿을 박스째로 사다가 뜯어본다. 한반 아이들은 평균 수백개의 초콜릿을 사본 경험이 있을 정도로 대 인기를 얻은 이벤트가 되었다. 하지만, 집이 가난한 찰리(Charlie: 피터 오스트럼 분)는 친조부모와 외조부모, 그리고 혼자된 어머니를 모시고 살며, 가족의 끼니 걱정을 하는 어린이이다. 수백개의 상자를 뜯고 있는 사람들의 모습은 찰리에겐 너무나도 먼 일이지만, 할머니와 할아버지들은 어렵게 모은 돈으로 찰리에게 웡카 초콜릿을 선물한다. 헛된 꿈을 키우는 것을 원치않는 찰리의 어머니는 반대하지만, 겉으로 내색않는 찰리에게도 남들의 이야기는 마냥 부럽다. 영국, 미국, 독일 등지에서 황금 티켓을 가진 어린이들이 나타난다. 마지막 한개의 티켓은 남미의 어느 나라에서 발견되고 찰리에게는 더 이상 별다른 희망이 없다. 길을 걷다가 커다란 은화를 발견한 찰리는 먹고 싶던 초콜릿을 두 개 산다. 하나는 자신을 위해 하나는 할아버지(Grandpa Joe: 잭 알버트슨 분)를 위해. 그때, 남미에서 발견된 황금 티켓이 위조된 것이라는 뉴스 발표가 나온다. 찰리는 할아버지를 위해 남겨둔 마지막 초콜릿 포장을 뜯고. 그 안에 든 것은 이제 전 세계에 단 하나 남은 황금티켓. 한명의 동반자만을 허용한다는 웡카 회사의 이야기를 들은 찰리는 할아버지와 함께 가기로 하고, 공장 견학의 날, 다섯 어린이들은 각자의 부모와 함께 공장앞에 모인다. 윌리 웡카가 안내하는 초콜릿 공장. 어린이들은 이제껏 어디서도 본 적 없는 꿈과 환상의 세계에 들어가게 되는데.
1938년 취리히. 독일인 빌키는 술집에서 일하고 있다. 빌키는 스위스인 음악가 로베르트 멘델스존을 사랑하게 된다. 아들이 독일인과 관계하는 것을 반대한 로베르토의 아버지는 빌키가 스위스로 돌아오지 못하도록 할 수 있었다. 빌키는 일에서는 운이 좋았다. 그녀가 전에 취입했던 음반이 인기를 얻게 되며 스타가 된다. 그 와중에 빌키는 나찌의 비밀경찰과 엮이지만 결국에는 전쟁에서 살아 남는다. 하지만 로베르토는 결혼해서 행복하게 살고 있다.
시카고 부근의 한 천주교 고아원에서 자란 형제 제이크(Joliet Jake: 존 벨루시 분)와 엘우드(Elwood: 댄 애크로이드 분)는 검은 양복, 검은 모자, 검은 안경이 트레이드마크인 괴짜들이다. 본업은 리듬앤블루스 밴드 리더였던듯 한데, 오늘은 저간의 곡절로 옥살이를 한 형제 제이크가 모범수로 가석방되는 날이다. 경찰서 폐기처분장비 공매장에서 헐값에 산 중고 경찰차를 몰고 마중 나온 동생 엘우드는 출감한 제이크를 태우고 어렸을때 생활하던 고아원으로 간다. 5천달러의 세금을 며칠 안에 납부하지 않으면 고아원이 교육청에 팔리게 된다는 말을 원장 수녀로부터 들은 블루스 형제는 밴드를 다시 조직하여 큰 공연을 함으로서 5천달러를 마련하겠다는 계획을 세운다. 제이크가 감옥에 들어갈때 각자 살 길을 찾아나서서 지금은 나름대로 자리를 잡고 사는 옛 밴드 멤버들을 우역곡절 끝에 재규합하는데 성공한 블루스 형제는, 오라는 곳 없는 불청객으로 길을 가다 어느 컨트리 앤웨스턴 주점에 들어가 무조건 노래를 부른다. 주점 주인이 연주료 200달러를 주며 밴드가 마신 맥주값 300달러를 청구하자 돈이 없는 블루스 형제는 잽싸게 차에 올라 도주하여 극장 예약업자 모리(Maury Sline: 스티븐 로렌스 분)를 찾아간다. 모리의 약점을 이용하여 5천석 규모의 대극장 공연을 따낸 블루스 형제는 옛 고아원 교사 커티스(Curtis: 캡 콜로웨이 분)와 고아원 아이들의 도움을 받아 하루만에 대규모 선전을 성공리에 마친다. 극장에 구름같이 모여든 청중들은 블루스브라더스 밴드의 노래에 열광한다. 레코드사 사장이 취입 제안을 하면서 선약금 만달러를 내놓기까지 한다.

The movie revolves around Pandit Hari Prasad, a blind flautist (played by Sarvadaman Banerjee), and a painter (Suhasini) who is mute.
Hari Prasad lives with his only sister in a village which has some tourist attraction. He earns money by playing flute and entertaining the tourists. His life changes dramatically once Jyothirmayi (Moon Moon Sen) comes there and hears his musical talent. She helps him reach high standards in classical music.
Years pass by and Hari Prasad becomes one of the greatest flutists in India; he develops ;a great love towards Jyothirmayi for whom he dedicates all his albums
