예쁘고 총명하지만 생활고에 쪼들려 이런저런 아르바이트로 생계를 꾸리고 있는 수련의 메리 메이슨. 어느날 스트립 클럽 면접에 갔다가 그녀가 의사 지망생이라는 것을 안 사장이 클럽 비밀실에서 고문당하고 있는 어떤 남자를 살려달라는 의뢰를 한다. 망설이던 메리는 보수 5,000달러에 낚여서 결국 치료는 하지만 혐오감과 충격에 한동안 괴로워한다. 며칠 후 그녀에게 베티붑처럼 성형을 한 기괴한 여인, 베아트릭스가 접근하고 거금을 제시하며 친구의 성형수술을 부탁한다. 문제는 그 수술이란 게 자신을 인형처럼 만들기 위해 유두와 음순을 제거해 달라는 정신나간 것이었는데...
