우주 폐기물을 청소하던 코로나호는 낡은 구형 우주선에서 나오는 SOS 신호를 받고 구조에 나선다. 조난신호를 따라 우주선으로 들어간 코로나호의 ‘미겔’과 ‘하인츠’는 허름한 구형 우주선 내부에서 화려한 저택을 발견하고, 그 저택의 주인이 미녀 오페라 가수 ‘에바’의 것임을 알게 된다. 하지만 두 구조대원에게 알 수 없는 일들이 계속해서 일어나는데… 과연 두 사람은 무사히 구조활동을 마치고 코로나호로 돌아갈 수 있을까?

젊은 여성 감독과 배우들이 모여 여성들의 이야기를 담은 옴니버스 영화. 일과 사랑에 대한 고민, 소수자에 대한 억압과 차별, 일상적인 고뇌와 행복들…. 21세기의 여성들이 어떻게 살아가고, 생각하는지를 스스로의 눈으로 바라보고 질문을 던진다.

일본의 유명 감독 7명이 모여 하나의 작품을 만들었다. 다양한 장르와 촬영법으로 구성된 이 영화는 킬러, 뮤지션, 냉동 인간 등 다양한 소재를 다루고 있다.

성인이 된 후 재회한 소꿉친구 미카와 이즈미 그들은 출구가 없는 호텔에 갇히게 되고 탈출구를 찾던 그들은 어느 방 앞에 멈춰 선다 666 그 때, 방 문이 열리며 기모노를 입은 여자의 뒷모습을 보고 어린 시절 그 곳에서 한 약속이 떠오르는데… “나와의 약속 잊지 않았겠지?" 평범하고 조용한 성격의 이즈미는 부모님과 함께 치매를 앓고 있는 할아버지를 돌보며 살고 있다. 그러던 어느 날, 중학교 동창인 미카로부터 SNS 친구 요청을 받는다. 미카에 대해 나쁜 감정만 있던 이즈미는 마지못해 친구 요청을 수락하고, 그녀를 만나기로 한다. 호텔 레스토랑에서 함께 식사하던 중, 한 통의 전화가 걸려온다. 할아버지가 사라졌다는 어머니의 다급한 목소리에, 두 사람은 바로 자리를 뜨지만, 도무지 출구를 찾을 수가 없다. 그러다 갑자기 이들의 눈앞에 666호라 쓰여있는 방이 나타난다. 방 안에는 목이 길고 붉은색 기모노 차림을 한 여성이 있다. 어디선가 들려오는 소름 끼치는 목소리와 함께, 로쿠로쿠라 불리는 이 여성의 목이 늘어나기 시작하고, 그녀는 이즈미와 미카에게 “ 약속했잖아”라는 알 수 없는 말을 되뇌기 시작하는데…. 는 독특한 스타일과 줄거리가 돋보이는 공포영화다. 터무니없는 내용 그 자체가 매력으로 다가오는 작품으로, 독특한 심야 영화를 찾는 관객이라면 더 없이 좋을 작품이다.

Pig lives at the top of a hill in a town surrounded by a destructive, dark cloud. Before Pig’s father leaves to find a solution to the cloud, he builds Pig a small wooden dam to protect him and the town. The dam’s windmill keeps the cloud at bay, and Pig now has the responsibility to care for the dam. Young and alone, Pig finds love and family through his friendship with Fox, and continues to care for the townsfolk in a variety of ways. However, Pig struggles with the absence of his father, and his desire to search for his father competes with his need to keep the town safe.

Jam Films S is a Japanese omnibus movie. It was released by Phantom FIlm in Japan on January 15, 2005. The movie follows 2002’s Jam Films and its 2004 sequel Jam Films 2. This time around, the overall theme is “S” which stands for succession, success, and special. There are seven shorts, all produced by Ryuhei Kitamura. Included are the shorts Tuesday by Kenji Sonoda, Heaven Sent by Ryuichi Takatsu, Blouse by Hitoshi Ishikawa, New Horizon by Ryo Teshima, Suberidai by Yuichi Abe, Alpha by Daisaburo Harada, and Suit by Masaki Hamamoto.
