전작의 10년 후의 세계를 다루고 있다. 전쟁은 인간의 승리로 끝났고, 토마토는 인류의 합의 아래 금지되었다. 모든 음식에서 토마토가 사라진 것이다. 심지어 피자에도 토마토 대신에 땅콩 버터와 초콜렛이 쓰인다. 전작의 영웅인 공수부대 특수요원 윌버는 전역 후 피자가게를 차렸고, 조카 채드와 함께 생업에 종사하며 조용히 살아간다. 채드는 어느날 피자배달을 갔다가 외딴집에 살고있는 여인 타라를 만나게 된다. 그런데 그 집이 알고보니 토마토로 반란군을 조직하여 지구를 정복하려는 미친 과학자의 비밀 기지였고, 타라는 토마토로 만든 토마토 인간이었던 것이다. 타라는 오로지 박사가 성욕 해소와 가사노동을 위해 만든 인조인간이었다!
