영국의 코미디 그룹 몬티 파이선이 제작한 마지막 영화. 이전에 나온 몬티 파이튼의 성배나 몬티 파이톤과 브라이언의 삶과는 달리 식당의 수조탱크속에 있던 몬티 파이튼 멤버 각각의 모습을 한 물고기들이 잡혀먹히는 동료를 보면서 삶의 의미에 대해서 생각하는것을 시작으로 "탄생의 기적" "성장과 배움" "싸우기"(Fighting Each Other) "영화의 중간부분" "중년기 "신선한 장기이식" "황혼기"(Autumn Years) "죽음" "영화의 끝" 등 개별적인 에피소드를 거쳐가는 옴니버스 형식의 영화. 하지만 묘하게 서로 연결되는 에피소드들도 있고 마지막 천국파티 장면에서 보면… 그리고 저 파트 안에서도 또 이야기들이 갈린다.

미국 최고의 뉴스 정보 채널인 어니언 방송의 유명한 앵커 놈이 미국에서 벌어지는 황당한 소식들을 전달한다. 하지만 신성하다고 생각하는 자신의 뉴스를 진행하던 도중 갑자기 조그만 펭귄이 영화를 광고하며 훼방을 놓자, 방송국에 이를 따져 보지만 고지식하다며 자신의 말을 들어 주지 않는다. 결국 사임을 해야겠다고 결심한 놈은 생방송으로 진행되는 뉴스에서 자신의 얘기를 한다. 그러나 놈이 사임을 하겠다고 말하려는 찰나에 테러리스트가 놈의 머리에 총을 겨누는데...

Two store clerks slacking off at work (at a gas station) on Halloween go on an acid trip. Created by J.G. Quintel the characters were the basis for Mordacai and Benson on the Regular Show. The taller clerk, voiced by Quintel, introduces to the shorter clerk, voiced by Sam Marin, what he describes as a piece of "candy", to which later is learned to be laced with LSD. The characters then go on an acid trip, seeing each other morph into characters and objects. Sam's character is paranoid because he has not had acid before, and they attempt to figure out a plan as to how to "sober themselves up" before they are noticed by work personnel or police enforcement attention.

In 2011 Jon Kenny & Pat Shortt decided to reunite for a national tour of the award winning hit show 'One Hell of a Do'.
