프랭크 파머는 이성적인 사고를 가진, 일에 철저한 직업 경호원이다. 카터와 레이건 대통령의 경호원이기도 했던 그는 유명한 뮤직 스타 레이첼 매론의 경호를 담당하게 된다. 처음에는 자기가 누군가의 표적이 되고 있다 는 사실을 그다지 실감하지 못한 레이첼은 프랭크를 무시하는 듯한 태도를 보이지만 차츰 그의 중요성을 인식하면서 그에게 사랑을 느끼기 시작한다.

날카로운 면도날이 여자의 눈을 향하고, 거침없이 눈을 잘라낸다. 손 위에 우글거리는 개미들과 죽은 당나귀를 실은 그랜드피아노를 끌어당기는 남자 등 기묘한 이미지의 파편들이 이어진다. 루이스 부뉴엘과 초현실주의 화가 살바도르 달리가 함께 시나리오를 쓴 부뉴엘의 데뷔작이다. 줄거리가 잡히지 않는 기괴한 이미지들의 나열은 지금까지도 충격과 공포를 안겨주며, 초현실주의의 진정한 걸작으로 남아있다. 여자의 눈을 잘라내는 남자는 바로 부뉴엘 자신이다.

Sean and Billie are undercover cops and martial arts masters. Investigating the death of a cop, they uncover a deadly ring of murder and corruption at a glitzy nightclub where the rich are entertained by seductive women and protected by martial arts experts. Billie goes undercover to infiltrate the crime ring, leading to an explosive finale.

Pluto comes bounding outside to help Mickey get a Christmas tree. Chip 'n Dale see him and make fun of him, but the tree they take refuge in is the one Mickey chops down. They like the decorations, especially the candy canes and Mickey's bowl of mixed nuts. But Pluto spots them and goes after them long before Mickey spots them. Minnie, Donald, and Goofy drop by to sing carols.

Special prosecutor John Conroy hopes to combat organized crime in his city and appoints his cop father Matt as chief investigator. John doesn't understand why Matt is reluctant, but cynical reporter Jerry McKibbon thinks he knows: he's seen Matt with mob lieutenant Harrigan. Jerry's friendship with John is tested by the question of what to do about Matt, and by his attraction to John's girl Amanda. The other fine star of this race-against-the-clock programmer is an unglamorous, lunch-bucket L.A. rarely captured on film.
