Somebody with very little Christmas spirit is killing anyone in a Santa suit one London holiday season, and Scotland Yard has to stop him before he makes his exploits an annual tradition.

Neglected by her husband during the pre-Christmas rush, Mrs. Claus takes the reindeer and sleigh out for a drive, only to end up stranded in the neighborhood of Manhattan's Lower East Side.

Ebenezer Scrooge is a misery on Christmas, not allowing people money or doing anything to share Christmas cheer around his employees or acquaintances. While Scrooge is visited by three ghosts we see how his penny pinching has affected those around him.

The entire story of Christmastide is here depicted. The scene opens in a large boudoir of an apparently wealthy man's home. His children, assisted by their governess, are about to retire. Like every night, Manuel remembers the old days of glory, when after the war he was a famous bullfighter. He and his friend Juan were the fashionable couple. The entire extended family is happily on its way to a nostalgic Christmas at a rented cabin in the mountains. The cabin becomes cramped, however, when mom and dad and four grown-up children with their respective families, a dog and in-laws from Poland squeeze inside the frozen cabin walls in 30-below-zero weather.

Bob Cratchet is working for next to nothing, and doesn't get any more wood for the fire. He has to prick his finger for blood so he can write, and he is not allowed to go to the GAP. At home, his daughter is going to die, so she must finish her dusting quickly. Then at night Auntie Helga comes home and is greeted Marley. Marley warns her about three ghosts who will visit during the night. The first ghost comes and is only a head. He shows her the past. Then the ghost of the present comes and is huge. He shows her Bob Cratchet talking to his dead his daughter pretending she is alive. Then the Scream guy comes and tries to kill her, but she thinks he is the ghost of the future, so she leaves to see what the future will hold. The real ghost of the future comes and is confused why she isn't there. He meets up with the Scream guy and they fight to the death. Auntie Helga never learns her lesson and feed scraps from the largest turkey to Bob Cratchet who has to beg for them under the table.

A Father Christmas ornament climbs down from a decorated tree, and goes to the forest. There he creates and decorates a Christmas tree for the forest creatures. He then invites all the insects, along with a friendly frog, to come and enjoy the gifts he has prepared, and to celebrate Christmas.
